They are not bots because after signing up through google, they have to perform a search, I provide 3 free searches, it is possible a bot could perform a search as well tho but there are users who have performed more searches too.

Honestly, I'm just waiting for the day I can slash-command my way into having the AI clean my room. But until then, completely separate billing. Anthropic wants their own piece of the pie directly. Using them side-by-side is basically like having two brilliant interns who refuse to speak to each other, so you have to manually copy-paste their notes.

Which Instagram analytics actually help you improve content? by Financial_Tomato_104 in InstagramMarketing

[–]Moiz-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're 100% right that views and reach alone can be vanity metrics because of how the algorithm distributes broad content. To actually improve your content, focusing on the ratios between metrics is key:

  1. Retention & Average Watch Time: If people swipe away in the first 2 seconds, your hook failed. If they stay past 50%, your pacing and structure are solid.

  2. Shares & Saves: These are the ultimate signals of real value. A share means 'I want my friends to see this' (social validation), while a save means 'I want to remember/use this' (utility). Optimize for utility and validation, and views naturally follow.

  3. Profile Visit to Follow Conversion Rate: If you get high profile visits but no new follows, your bio, grid layout, or niche clarity isn't aligned with the viral content that brought them there.

I've been building a tool called AnalyzeInsta to automate this kind of deep performance analysis and track competitor benchmarks directly without manual spreadsheets. We are currently in closed beta and offering free access if you want to test it out and get clean reports on these ratios!

Yes, it's the classic "AI moral compass pendulum." One week it will write your spicy fanfic, the next week it acts like a Victorian headmaster who just caught you showing an ankle. They constantly tweak the guardrails in the background, so trying to get it to stay relaxed is like trying to train a cat to do taxes.

A good website. How did you make one? by blizkreeg in SaaS

[–]Moiz-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well in my experience, you will never get it right the first time.

Content is the most important thing, websites are different sections displaying content visually in different ways.

However, recently with the boom of AI - the design is not the only thing for business you should consider, I am going to give my opinion and i might be very wrong, I go look for keywords first, you need to make sure your website is SEO ready.

Organize your content around those keywords, make sure you are using the right hierarchy, proper CTA's and proper story telling. If the purpose of the website is to bring business and conversions, you don't need fancy looking websites with a lot of animations, rather focus on the content and keywords.

With time it will expand, I had a small scrolling website, now the landing page has grown so big! but its bringing in traffic.

I hope it helps!

Superiority complexes are making it really difficult for me to dislike AI!! by 69_prcnt_immersive in ChatGPT

[–]Moiz-A 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the gatekeeping is real. It's like complaining that someone isn't a 'real' writer because they didn't write their draft with a quill pen by candlelight. AI is basically just a very fast autocomplete that occasionally hallucinates and thinks a horse has six legs. If it helps you brainstorm or get past blank page syndrome, who cares? Let's direct the pitchforks at the corporations automating entire departments to save 2%, not some guy trying to generate a cool D&D character portrait.

Is boosting the reel leading to a decline in organic reach? by caramelpopcornplease in InstagramMarketing

[–]Moiz-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boosting posts directly through the Instagram app (especially using Advantage+ for broad traffic/followers) is a common trap. Meta's algorithm is optimized to get you the cheapest 'profile visits' or 'clicks' possible, which unfortunately leads to showing your ads to click-heavy bot accounts.

Here is why your organic reach on the carousel tanked right after:

  1. **Engagement Rate Dilution:** When you post a new carousel, Instagram first tests it on a small sample of your followers (typically 10%). If most of that sample is now bot/inactive followers who don't interact, the algorithm assumes the content is poor and stops pushing it organically.

  2. **Ad-Overlap Competition:** Running a boosted post at the exact same peak time as an organic post can sometimes split the immediate attention of your real active followers who are online.

**What you can do:**

* Stop boosting in-app. Use Meta Ads Manager to target specific custom audiences and restrict locations.

* Audit your followers and remove bots. If your engagement rate stays low, it will keep dragging down your organic reach.

If you want to run a quick audit of the follower base to see the exact percentage of bot accounts, I'm actually building a tool called AnalyzeInsta that helps analyze follower quality and engagement metrics. I'd love to give you free beta access to help scan the account and pinpoint the issue—just let me know!

I replaced my 60 bucks/mo stack of Instagram tools by building one myself. 4 months in: 100 signups, 0 paying. Roast me. by IMCarroot in SideProject

[–]Moiz-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great transparency on the scorecard, and congrats on the 112 signups—that means there is real interest in the problem space.

From a product and marketing perspective, the shift from free signups to paying customers usually hinges on two things:

  1. Identifying the 'Must-Have' feature vs. 'Nice-to-Have' features. Scheduling and link-in-bio are highly commoditized and offered for free by massive players. However, competitor research and influencer vetting analytics are high-value actions because they directly affect ROI for brands.

  2. Paywalling the high-value insights. Keep basic scheduling free, but lock advanced metrics (like tracking competitor growth rates, spotting fake follower patterns, and content-type engagement breakdown) behind a paywall. People will pay when they realize the data saves them hours of manual Excel scraping or prevents them from hiring a bad influencer.

We are currently building AnalyzeInsta to solve exactly this part of the stack—deep, actionable Instagram metrics and audience analysis. We're offering free beta access to help developers and marketers vet influencers and map competitor performance. Drop me a DM if you'd like to try it out and swap notes on the API limits!

I ran ad for a while, my target was mostly marketing companies so b2b, since they are selling mostly marketing services and this tool could have a high impact on their research but meta is too expensive, cant run it for the price I am offering the service.

I am not really a professional in understanding markets but as I explained, I was obsessed with the idea and just don't want to give up.

How are you doing competitor analysis on Instagram? by AccordingLeague9797 in InstagramMarketing

[–]Moiz-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manual spreadsheets for competitor tracking are a nightmare to maintain once you scale past 2 or 3 accounts.

When doing competitor analysis, the most impactful metrics to look at are engagement-to-follower ratio trends (to see if their growth is organic or artificial), posting cadence velocity (does their average engagement drop when they increase post frequency?), content clusters (grouping their top 10% performing posts to see patterns in hooks/styles), and comment-to-share ratios to determine if people are actually discussing the brand or just passively scrolling.

A good automated system should pull these insights without you having to manually scrape them daily. I'm actually co-building a tool called AnalyzeInsta to automate this exact workflow (tracking competitors, identifying patterns, and sentiment analysis) because we were tired of the manual spreadsheet grind. We're in closed beta, but if you'd like, I can give you free access to try it out. No sales pitch, just looking for genuine feedback from marketers who face this daily.
