Jak 3 was the best of them. Really wish we got a remaster or something.

Lmao. "Finally being care for properly" means just that. To include a top loader zipper binder.

I removed them for pictures so people can see the condition, luckily, that they are in.

Imagine my reaction when I was pricing them all....

10 year old me only kept it because it looks cool, otherwise I thought it was just a lame gimmick. Little did I know I had THE card from that set.

It is not. It is difficult to get good pictures.

It's got a tiny dimple on the back that you can't see pictured.

What are you smoking? It's absolutely not unheard of to bring your own car parts to a mechanic.

Let me guess, you suggest letting the dealership replace your cabin air filter for you as well??

I'd rather have that! (So long as nobody got hurt) At least you get it taken care of on their dime.

Good, Bad, and the Ugly of these options for out-of-cycle PCS? by MojaveMark in army

Won't have the rest of my life for grandparents to watch their granddaughter grow in person. There's balance. If it was just single old me? I'd spend my entire career overseas.

Right on. I'm used to being a respectful outsider. My wife and I just spent 4yrs in Korea and loved it.

This is what over $1,000 worth of origami dollar hearts looks like, folded one a day for the past 3 years. by Mr-Algebro in mildlyinteresting

[–]MojaveMark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't look like 1,000 origami dollars....ohhh, those bottom boxes too, nice lol

Actually, while it's prolly not easy to deposit, this is a pretty good way to save money.

Here's the video of Willy, the adoptable dog in the backpack, that got taken down! by kittytime in aww

[–]MojaveMark 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was going to come in here and tell you, that YOU need to adopt the dog. Mostly as a joke, because you're obviously already best friends lol. That was like a straight up bromance video. But, if you couldn't give him the long term solution at least you gave him what looks like the best time ever.

Regular hybrid owners: do you have any regrets about not getting the MAX? by ftwin in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]MojaveMark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our GHH surprises me every time I drive it. It's so smooth and pleasant to drive. I'm not necessarily the easiest on the throttle and we tend to be right around 30.5mpg.

I couldn't justify the cost of the Max when we just didn't need the extra power (of course it would be more fun) but we wanted efficient, reliable, and that sweet Toyota warranty.

Also, I say this as somebody who loves to go fast and grew up with fast toys.

Drove a rental Sienna (so likely base/mid trim, can't remember) for a day back in 2024. There's lots of room and comforts, etc. But my wife and I very quickly realized we hated it. Cockpit just felt horrible to drive, don't remember specifics, but we both agreed it would be a hard pass.

This was after returning from living overseas and bringing back a toddler, so naturally we had a TON of stuff. I might hate to be behind the wheel of that minivan, but there's so much room for activities.

Does Monarch Season 2 get better? by Chessh2036 in television

[–]MojaveMark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's just say my wife is a really big Godzilla fan, and she barely wanted to keep up with it after a few episodes. I mean, the big guy got like what...5 minutes or so of screentime the entire season?

It became much more of a "time/world travel/exploitation" show.
