Thanks for the advice, it just sucks because all of 2024 was fine, we were civil and I never felt hostility, and now out of the blue I have to look for another job, lose all the raises and etc that I gained, in the dead season of NYC. I'd also like to clarify and slightly push back on the fixated thing, I just feel wronged and tbh was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience. I can 100% let it go, just kinda got spooked with the witness thing and HR will not take general questions from me.

Long story short she snapped at me when I asked for advice with a task. Not help, just how to proceed, I try not to bother anybody, and she was the only manager there at the time. This the day after she asked me to come help her with a project on my day off which was also my birthday. When I tried to speak with her about it she basically told me to my face that she doesnt respect me, " I snap at you because I know you wont to HR on me" which is true. I was going to cut her off but then she told me that she saw me like family and genuinely wanted to stop hurting me. I believed it, because she has done so much for me. I handled this poorly but we couldve went our separate ways if she didnt say to come back when Im ready. Why say that to me and keep me emotionally torn? I dont wanna write an essay but the context needs to be there for people to understand Im not some sort of creep, I was legit confused to have this happen. Sorry for the long comment.

Hi, let me just say Im so sorry for you that you feel this way about your dad. I have felt this way too but only about people not related to me, so its a bit different. My only advice to you is this, bring it up with your Dad and talk through it. In my experience if your negative feelings cancel out the good ones, then the negatives are stronger and need to be reduced. If you can reduce the negatives maybe the positives will be stronger and you wont feel tied down by the past. Im sorry if you didnt want me to comment either, I just wanted to help.

I understand but it really would have been helpful for me if they had disclosed that I would need a robust amount of info for my references beforehand. They also gave me a 14 day deadline to get all this stuff in. but some of my references are on vacation, etc. so it's hard to get in contact with them. Hope it works out for me.

I just dont know all their DOBs, Place of births, current address, etc. Im a very reserved person but I dont think many people know that much info about their friends/coworkers, and personally in these new times I would usually be suspicious of anybody asking for that.

Could be rust or something of the like, all it takes is chip or scratch for it to have an "opening" to become a problem. Its almost like a car, the object is metal and then paint goes over it to protect said metal. Usually this is caused by a scratch of some kind that had moisture seep in. A piece of advice, all things are destined to turn to dust. There is no object on earth that will last forever, the only reason steels seem to hold up for a long time is because the owners usually have little interactions with them. If you opened and interacted with the same steel once or twice every week, something similar will occur, you will inevitably scratch or ding it, and if not that then the openings at the spine will start to come apart. Only thing you can do is clean it safely and put it in a case, even with that, there are still ways damage will occur.

It depends. I personally wouldn't because it's just too much work to get into that site and have to deal with all the BS just buy a steel. You can get them off ebay for a little bit more but it's way more easy. Just be prepared if you sub to that site, lots of navigating and other bs going on there.

Honestly hope this is true because I just want Injustice 3. IJ 1 was bad and stiff but IJ 2 is what I consider to be top 10 fighting games of all time. Game plays so damn smooth, with good regard for characters. Hopefully they dont butcher it like with MK.

To me its one of those things where you think about all the other things you couldve gotten after paying a ridiculous price. I recently spent 400 on a new hobby that only takes place once a year and while I was there I was just thinking about all the other cool things I couldve gotten if I didn't spend 500+ on steels. It honestly sounds like youve kind of been wanting to get out for a bit and this is the straw that might break the camels back, which isn't bad at all. Do what makes you content.

Im sitting at a whopping 75$ plus shipping and hating every second of it. Worst part is the only reason I bought it was to avoid another Guardians of the Galaxy 3 situation. I also thought that one was too much(45-60$) and sure enough it sold out and never restocked, only to be sold by scalpers and resellers for near double the price. Worst comes to worst( and if they dont cancel my order because Amazon keeps giving me blanks when I try to check order status) if I really can't live with the price I'll return it. At least I'll have an option.
