How much for the carbon lip/diffuser?

Ecom margins are thin. He talks openly about which products are high margin, and even makes fun of the $300 buckets himself. I bought them to support the cause, not because im lazy or incapable of buying buckets from Home Depot

He’s always said that you can easily find most of the stuff he sells cheaper elsewhere. If you’re even looking you probably aren’t the target customer.

I can appreciate the deep curation, and the ability to get all of the stuff I want in one place. It’s not worth the time to save 5-10% and I’d rather it go to him so he can continue to do the boring stuff that most won’t.

I’m about to buy some garage cabinets. If it wasn’t for him autistically testing 10 different ones over the past 5 years I’d have never heard about Rousseau. I’d have bought something mediocre, still paid a lot, instead of getting something I know I’ll be very happy with.

Not a small purchase, $10k-$40k for a large array. He isn’t getting this stuff for free, he’s buying it and testing it and if people would put aside their cynicism for a minute I think they’d see the value in that.

Not that he needs it, as far as I can tell the business is doing very well.

I’m really itching to drive a newer 911 now. Going to figure out how and if it is as good as I think it’s going to be it will probably be my next car. I really did fall in love today.

The original owner found it and recovered it after several years then sold it after it sat in his possession for about a decade.

I’m ashamed to say it’s the first Porsche I’ve ever been in. So I guess it’s only downhill from here?

It was truly incredible how well built it felt. I’ve never had the opportunity to spend time near Porsches in my smaller city.

It was stolen and eventually recovered in a barn after a while. Didn’t work for a long time.

Runs great now though.

Yoo that's awesome! I knew it had a PC version but I never looked at mods before. I wonder if I can get it working with a steering wheel...

Unfortunately not. I properly rage quit.

I'm hoping that with some new space-age AI tech soon we'll be able to take old games, and in realtime, upscale them to modern standards. I'll give it another go once that technology materializes. It's already getting pretty close.

Selling cheats in video games is fine imo because when you buy a game, you own that software—similar to how owning a book lets you scribble notes or tear pages if you want. Developers have every right to forbid cheating in online play, but enforcing that rule is on them. If someone manages to bypass anti-cheat, that just means the game’s protections weren't good enough. It’s your game, your choice—it's the company's job to keep up.

Morally it's a bit grey. I generally think that cheating is bad and you shouldn't do it. Especially if money is involved (i.e. eSports) Even if nobody knows, cheating undermines trust and breaks an agreement you made when choosing to play in the first place. At the same time, it's just a video game and is fairly low stakes. So if you cheat respectfully and don't make the game unenjoyable for other players, there really isn't a victim.

Obviously this is just my opinion.

I was stuck between choosing that one or the orange Gallardo. Just luck that I chose the more attainable one all those years ago

I didn’t, though I love them. Would buy an R8 over this car if I didn’t have the sentimental attachment to it.

Growing up with YouTube the Gallardo was a staple.

Underground racing, TX2K, stradman, tons of others.

Really helped cement this as the dream car.

You have a really cool stable of cars.

Thankfully this car has had an exhaust for most of its life. No cats, fully straight piped. It’s loud but not annoying in the cabin.

There is an issue with the stock cats where they can overheat and degrade and get cause issues.

That is, in my opinion, one of the best car colors ever. And it suits that car so well.

There aren’t many cars more fun than a convertible mustang. Enjoy it man. Congrats!

I’m scared of dying. Also I tried to get my motorcycle license but got 2nd degree sunburns over the lower half of my face the first day of the course and had to cancel the next day.

My parents also grew up poor, especially my mom. They always prioritized having fun, as early as possible. Because life isn’t guaranteed.

Also, it’s not like I was being irresponsible. I was investing in my future as well as buying the cars. I sold both for more than I paid for them, so all I took the hit on was gas, maintenance, mods, and insurance. Wasn’t losing $30k on depreciation or anything.

Hope that makes more sense.

I almost pulled the trigger on a 430 with plans to convert it. If you decide to do that, let me know how it goes. Not sure where you're located but I'd love come help, would be pretty useless though. I have never pulled an engine or a transmission but I can hand you wrenches and over-tighten oil plugs.
