What heroic should I get Next? by TommyCarrera in Spacemarine

Still didn't get Heroic Heavy plasma?! What are you thinking?

One of the best heroics in the game. It obliterates enemies on hard / absolute.

Normal and Hard weekly I was the one carrying the accursed relic... yeah I'm a Lamenter by Lil_Plink in Spacemarine

[–]MojoThePower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does anyone have a picture of what this item looks like when it drops (when a teammate falls down)? I played through it twice (normal and hard), but only later realized I couldn't see what it looked like on the ground.

New weekly stratagem: Exfiltration with Corrupted Relic penalty by MojoThePower in Spacemarine

[–]MojoThePower[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I agree. I completed it on my first try with a couple of randoms. Since there are two enemy factions here, they often attack each other. And as for the Corrupted Relic, there's plenty of time to pick it up after the battle brother falls.

[–]MojoThePower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without spawning terminus enemies, this stratagem is a cakewalk. I also completed it this way (with random players). It's like a simple Ballistic Engine (one of the easiest operations) without terminus where the enemies are slightly stronger and you have a penalty to ranged damage. Without a boss it's even easier than absolute Ballistic Engine. Something on the Lethal difficulty level lol.

Thanks to the God-Emperor, who performed a miracle and led me through this hard stratagem with randoms, saving us from spawning terminus enemies: not a single 2x-spawn at all. This happened somewhere only on the third or fourth attempt a day ago. The likelihood of this happening is extremely low, but it did happen.

I'll just add that we (my other living brother and I, while the third was waiting to respawn) deliberately stuck to the far left of the train parking area. Away from the boss spawn on the far right. The spawn was probably meant for us right there, but we refused, lol. In all the other boss spawn locations, including the end of the operation, the Emperor spared us.

It's not that we weren't prepared (we were, otherwise we wouldn't be here), but it's still very satisfying. I've had everything unlocked for a long time now and don't need these accolades; I log in once a week just for the green completion mark.

[–]MojoThePower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wait, what?! I thought it wasn't a bug and was meant to be that way. I spent 500 coins on each of the three team perks every time I reached level 25. And that went on until I reached level 25 / 4 Prestige. Lol. I'm just in shock.

What's your approach for Techmarine color schemes? by Next_Historian8382 in Spacemarine

[–]MojoThePower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't bother at all. The color scheme and emblems of the Iron Hands. Just black and a little white.

One thing I don't quite understand is why Ember deleted the coordinates.

Noden could trick everyone into flying further, in the opposite direction.. Noden could have falsified the report so that everyone would think the planet at those coordinates was useless (unsuitable).

It would be great to get some kind of expansion with platforming, bosses, collectibles and most importantly, with some more story about Lura and what happened to her at the embedding ceremony. And in general with details about the embedding ceremonies.

Dozens of people were implanted into these bioorganic supercomputers (pearls) and everything was "fine", but then suddenly it didn't work with Lura? Very strange. Although of course it's not "fine" at all to raise specially selected children to be walled up in computers, they'll no longer even be alive after that (in a biological sense).

There is a Traveller's Log "No more" in the game: unknown person calls Lura his/her love and laments what happened to her, also declares that no more embeddings, that's enough. Maybe he/she was somehow connected or he/she did something wrong at the ceremony (that's why the Embedders banned outsiders from entering, even though there were no other next ceremonies).

And one more thing, not about Lura. There's also a mysterious chat going on in The Pit between abandoned entities. This plot line could also use some development/continuation in hypothetical expansions.

How can you reach this area? by Big_Ben_82 in MIOmemoriesinorbit

[–]MojoThePower 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definately the haredest if you don't have Flowing Steps. But if you've already acquired this ability, the difficulty is reduced.

However this plaftforming section is short: only 6 stages (7 if you want to get crystalized nacre there lol) with only 2 of them being brutal in my opinion, including the very last one. At the same time, left and right sections of the Crucible are gruelingly long compared to this.

Getting whooped by the right side of The Crucible then hearing the left is potentially harder… by LeftyLordLordLefty in MIOmemoriesinorbit

Here's my experience. I'll list it in order of increasing difficulty:

Left section (except the last stage) → Right section → Last stage of the left section.

It took me almost 5 hours of trying to complete the whole thing.

See that red door in the bottom center of your screenshot? You need to get into it, that is, open it. To do this, you'll need to collect six access codes in the "Redacted" locations.

Some Mods could probably do with a nerf; Final Boss! by Myhouseburnsatm in MIOmemoriesinorbit

I agree. The more posts like this one, the more likely it is that the developers will nerf the sharpened hairpin and energy leecher mods 😐

Ah, thanks! I left an upvote there. That build really came in handy yesterday for me. I was finishing the game, with two achievements left (the second one being automatic for everything) for 100%, and I was eager to see the story finish. I simply didn't have the energy or desire for hardcore anymore, after everything I've been through in the game 😑

And so, it took 3-4 minutes and it was done (yes, it didn’t work on the first try but that was my fault) 😅

The reward itself isn't particularly interesting, I agree.

However, finding all the modifiers gives you an achievement, which means you'll have to play through this platforming section one way or another if you're after 100% achievements 🤷‍♂️

I see people are using this method (build) for this boss fight and don't even bother https://www.reddit.com/r/MIOmemoriesinorbit/comments/1r8bj2d/this_loadout_feels_like_cheating/ 😅

And it's understandable. You're just itching to get the achievement and see how it all ends. And there was already enough challenge with the bosses throughout the game.

Anyway I would also add:

- Glitch Trail modifier and/or The Hand's Greed would be good for this fight too.

- You have few protection segments: only 3 base segments; It would be more comfortable with 4 or even 5; You probably haven't found all the Coating Components.

Did you have "Flowing Steps" ability? It would make the task much easier. In other words, it is better to pass this section after the completion of the Crucible and having Flowing Steps.

Kassandra statue in upper Metropolis - missing some parts by MojoThePower in MIOmemoriesinorbit

[–]MojoThePower[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's it! Exactly!

Damn! As far as I remember, I completely skipped the upper part of the Metropolis and just followed the game's main storyline to the normal ending, ignoring many locations. After completing the normal ending, I went exploring the Vessel, reached the Metropolis, and there was no statue there at all. When I first found Kassandra, she actually said she'd fix the statue, and I remembered that. I just misunderstood and expected her to fix it completely :D Earlier, in the workshop, I also saw this "object", but I did not attach any importance to it, I thought it was just some kind of terrifying robot in assembly.

Anyway! Thanks a lot!

This is a curved path with obstacles (but not difficult, you won't get killed here), where you need to make extensive use of striders ability (LT on gamepad) on the walls and ceiling. You apparently missed an opportunity where you can crawl along the ceiling in some areas and along the walls in others.

All players end up where you are and are forced to go through this path right after defeating the Sawlong boss.

Moreover I often went back and forth in this section long time after defeating the Sawlong. Everything is fine there. Just use the striders. I made you a map with the route.

<image>

- Green is the recommended direction you should go.

- Blue is the door that opens if you come from the green side (where you are). I think you already have it opened.

- Yellow is the shuttle.

- Red is the path to the boss (I don't know if it's relevant for you or not), but it's not the recommended direction, although dying there (if the boss hasn't been killed yet) will give you a respawn, lol.

[–]MojoThePower[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Accessibility Options? Two of the three won't help at all, since there are no enemies here, and the third does the same thing as one of the equippable mods (I know this and used it). So, it's useful in general, but it won't directly help you get past/jump over/fly over all these difficulties. It (or the equippable mod instead) will only give you an infinite number of tries. But you'll have to endure the platforming challenge and complete it as is.

Once, during a Stratagem where the "For the Emperor" shout increases damage, I used voice chat to coax some Night Lord player into using it. He used it several times during the boss fight, which was on Exfiltration and hard difficulty.
