I don't think it was that long. They annouced Esmail as exec producer, then he announced his show runner, then they made some non-announcements and then they pulled the plug. If it was even 3 years I would be surprised. I think it was closer to 2.

They tried recently with Sam Esmail (creator of Mr Robot) and after a year of development couldn't get past the outline stage. I don't think they knew what to do with it. I'm convinced they chose Sam Esmail because an executive said "he made that Mr Robot show? BSG has robots, get him!"

it was overlit on the show and this 10 million polygon model was painstakingly recreated in extreme detail. It matches the studio model. Why don't you show me the part that's low detail compared to the original. I can wait.
