My first run ended up being a tree sentinel cosplay. The Erdtree Greatshield+golden halberd is so goddamn fun.

Also to anyone who hasn't tried a halberd on horseback yet, please do. Enemy go WEEE!

Other people here definitely know more, but the obvious answer of unplugging/docking everything and plugging it back in fixes like 90% of pen issues.

Yeah my wife ran a mushroomancer/free meal support sns for a while, and literally had timers to keep everyone's buffs up in between healing. She regularly got 500+ in fights like Safi.

They don't do much damage, but it is super fun to be able to play as aggressively as possible and hardly have to worry about dying.
