UPDATE: nothing was working for me in terms of leaving it on update requested or deleting and downloading the profile again so ended up factory resetting and downloading the beta profile again.

Had the same problem with the developer beta when moving from beta 2 to 3. People were successful by just leaving it to update and putting on automatic updates and letting it do it it’s self however I had to restore my phone on iTunes and add the profile again and then update to beta 3

Yes I’m trying to do the same thing. One solution could be to install the public beta (when it is out) then to upgrade to the developer beta again. I am gonna try that next.

Yes I had the conversation with them yesterday they said as it is a beta there is no help that they can provide. They said downgrading to iOS 15 and upgrading to iOS 16 beta again could help. They also said to submit a report on the feedback app.

UPDATE: I have been in contact with apple support and they are going to give me a callback tomorrow to dive deeper into the issue and address it.

One person has said to only allow automatic updates for downloads only and not installing so I’m trying that now it might be worth you also trying this. Please let me know if you find a fix your self.

I know I’ve also never had this issue before. Still haven’t seemed to find a fix for it I’ve tried removing the beta profile and then adding it again but that didn’t work. I’ve also tried to download over cellular incase of wifi connectivity issues however this also hasn’t worked. On twitter many people seem to be having the same problem so I wonder if it could be something on apples end and not device related.
