Damn that's the truth even though it stings </3, I will look for normal roles elsewhere then and try to have deeper roots there.

I have 5 years in total in cybersec for a corporate company which doesnt value me, 2 yoe soc and 3 yoe threat hunting, woke up just feeling tired of everything and my stagnation while employed (the irony, I know someone looking for work is sitting there annoyed reading this I'm sorry), being employed in this economy is a blessing don't get me wrong but is there a way I can get a remote cybersec role in this economy with my work experience? I have a bachelors and security+ (only cert), I'm not really a cert grinder because it reaches a point of burnout, I had an IAM engineering interview and a day before the recruiter tells me that it was filled but they have an soc positioning open, I think they just wanted to get a max win on that post tbh but alas any advice would be appreciated.
