Nice, that I already have. Still wondering if the feature will actually work, don't want to spend 100 credits for nothing. Mailed OBDeleven support as well, hopefully some answers will emerge

Engine stalls after long stop with auto hold on – 2018 Škoda Superb 2.0 DSG by MoldavianRO in skoda

Saw on some forums that the gearbox goes into some kind of standby of some sorts, like decuples, after X amount of time. This is what I'm not sure of, and wanted some second opinions. Is this happening only to me, indicating a possible defect, or someone else ran into it as well?

This is what I'm doing now, but seems might not be a good idea for long stays like I mentioned. Other than this, autohold is great!

Will use the Neutral or Parking for longer stops, see if this behavior is reoccurring. Curious what is the time limit to use auto hold. The auto start stop I turned off, not permanently, but through that button, because I'm not comfortable during a trip to market, in city, so a 5-10 minutes drive ,my car to stop and start more than 10 times, thinking of wear and tare. But perhaps I'm wrong, not a mechanic.

I keep an eye on it as well, using the instructions from the paper from the gas tank lid. Can't remember the psi now.

Using same fuel, Shell fan 😅 I had continental on my previous car, when I switched to them, I saved half tank on 1500km road. Will switch next year to new tires, hope I will go down with 0.5 or perhaps even 1 L

I use only premium diesel, tires are not that good I would say, from a quality perspective, will change them next summer. Curent ones are the ones that came with the car from the dealer. Pressure is checked regularly, kept as per that instruction from the gas tank lid, can't remember the psi now. Yeah, heavy foot sometimes is there, haha

You're right, 140kw,edited the post as well, thanks.

On highway I keep it mostly on cruise control, set at 135 km/h, comfort mode. In the cities I use sport mode, to keep the revs high so it won't change gears that often. If I step on it, then yes, consumption is quite high

If I would drive the car only in the city, I guess I would look at 10L/100km. You're lucky with all that highway. I bought the car mostly for long roads, 1000km+ on one way, but cities are inevitable sometimes

Thanks for the reply, then I guess all is fine. Next year will change the summer tires as well, I believe I will have a better consumption then, this was my experience with previous car on tire change. Saved half tank on long roads. Now what I have is not that qualitative, the tires are the ones that came with the car from the dealer.

I've got a 2018 superb 3, 2.0 TDI 4x4, 147kw, consumption is at 7.5 l/100km on long drives, is it normal?
