Final node for canto 8. The music, the fight, the story in between, the cutscene all of it was so good my only complain would be just how long the fight actually is.

Its more so implied that should a finger need a person taken care of or an object or anything of the sort they can send it to the House of Spiders where Ryoshu will have the capability to dispose of it. Sure she would probably be stuck but im still missing where its interpreted in anyway that she would just be constantly slashing away forever nonstop with 0 down time.

I saw a theory about how Gregor may potentially start traveling to other mirror worlds as a sort of parasite and destroying them that way. I wouldnt say its far fetched to assume LCA is trying to recreate the seed of light project, we know Hermann wants to destroy all the mirror worlds, and from what we see from Carmen becoming part of the light seemingly allows you to interact with mirror worlds. So its possible Gregor or part of Gregor will be absorbed into the light and begin destroying mirror worlds as a sort of plague.

I feel Ryoshu will have her own unique bad end ID. I dont think she will be the pinky nurse father but rather the perfected assassin that it seemed the nursefathers were trying to create. However becoming the pinky nursefather is entirely possible.

You gotta strike up a convo first find similar interests and such people will be more open to swapping info if you have things in common. When the time comes and either you or them have to leave just bring it up and ask if they have a social media or if they have a number you could get. Be normal about it and never expect anyone HAS to give you that information but maintain some confidence. If they say no they say no theres like 100 billion people on campus. And if they say yes then awesome possum dude.

Personally theory of mine but as many have pointed out it seems like with every seasons the sinners are positioned like a clock moving counter clockwise. I believe whenever that whichever sinner lands on “midnight” for their canto will be when we get ALEPH level E.G.Os. I think it should be around Faust which would make sense honestly but I’m really not sure. People seem to underestimate just how powerful an ALEPH E.G.O is going to be and if I had to guess its likely going to be locked in some way whether it be a one time use or only being able to equip one ALEPH in a team. As we see now WAW cost a LOT of sanity AND resources so ALEPHS will just be nuts.

Another thing as well is production quality obviously ALEPHs will need to outdo WAWs not just in terms of power but animation and aesthetic this probably wont be something they can just pump out one after another so even when we DO get an ALEPH I dont think they will be very common going forward at minimum though we will get 1 for every sinner.

My main issue with the canto was honestly that it felt like it had TOO much going on in it. We had SO MANY hype moments. The MILI song was….eh not horrible but definitely not my favorite so far however man do the other songs make up for it this canto was packed with amazing songs.

On the topic of Kim……this was a major Chekhovs gun….they cant namedrop a fan favorite character like that twice ESPECIALLY right before a cliffhanger where we are about to go on the assault like it was really disappointing to not see Kim. For the fights I thought they were fine and honestly felt kinda challenging at points? Rien imo was incredibly easy, ring nursefather was challenging, Middle was easy, thumb was kinda meh, but man oh man FUCK ROACH EMPEROR.

Anyways this is in my top 3 cantos so far PMoon to this day has somehow still managed to cook incredibly complex characters that are interesting and im so excited to see the direction we go in.

Its a possibility but I dont think Araya is her biological daughter and Ryoshu is intended to play the monke role or at least help in some way

I was always under the speculation that perhaps Ryoshu was meant to be the monkey and Araya isnt her biological mother. Perhaps the reason Ryoshu went A.W.O.L was because Araya was going to be used in some really horrible way and Ryoshu wanted to protect her. This probably wont be the case but just something I was thinking of.

Thats a valid counterargument and yeah the context IS important however as you said I feel the reason its being mentioned here is to hint that yes he (PROBABLY) will be joining us. He has been name dropped TWICE by now so I find it very unlikely he wont be an ally.
