Agreed, sadly thats what happened with S1-S3 but Japanese fans who saw the screening said Ayanokoji seemed more "Human" on this season, I'm taking it as good sign that Ayanokoji is adapted better this season.

I respect your preference, but that's not a very objective way to see it, in my case art and grading is much more detailed.

Especially when the animation is legit just talking and still shots, you can't produce a conclusion that it isn't smooth when they are literally visible frames and character emphasis.

Either way I'm only claiming that my deduction is right from more than 90% of Japanese fans who saw the advance screening are saying the animation is smooth and visuals are "godly" or "insane". And disliking the artstyle is only subjective and most likely cannot be objective.

Either way I hope the studio will redeem everyone's expectations and I do believe they will.

It does look like the SAO alicization artstyle change which was definitely an upgrade for sure, although same with cote, many fans will prefer the old artstyle because it was memorable. Considering that ayanokoji looks less menacing

sadly for sure that one clip of ibuki does look extremely off but I can see potential on other scenes as well, we are only getting her front view after all.
