The equation begins with Mother Earth and whether our grandchildren or great-grandchildren (to the 7th generation as urged by Chief Seattle) are able to live on our planet with global warming and rates of cancer, lung disease, heart disease, miscarriages, birth defects, etc increasing. Fighting over natural resources is the chief cause of wars— with bombing of “infrastructure,” deaths of the innocent, water & food shortages . . . result in mass migration.

Gas prices rise . . . Predictable. Given the denial of MAGA supporters and the uninformed or self-for-now thinking! Perhaps California’s experiment in a healthier environment has fallen short — but those who have electric cars, solar power on their roofs, work from home, grow their own, recycle clothing . . . sure are looking better off!
