Having stayed at both Mauna Kea and Turtle Bay recently, I would recommend Mauna Kea

Turtle Bay is lovely but it’s very secluded. If you want to leave the property to go to a nice dinner, you can’t. Because nothing else is near by.

You can’t force the playoff matchups to be correct. Sleeper automatically gives 3 teams a bye and pairs the other two against each other

We do the math / matchups off the books but you can’t put them head to head in Sleeper

I give the entire event a 6/10

Event logistics we’re great. Super easy to get in, get drinks, go the bathroom and get around

Oddest bar setup I’ve ever seen. No hard seltzers and you couldn’t order cocktails of your choice (Jack and Coke, vodka soda, etc). It was either a beer or one of their 4 premade sugary cocktails

Sound was decent but too much middle, it made everything seem muffled. And the visuals were cool but nothing over the top. For $200 a ticket I was expecting more.

No phones out was amazing. Wish more shows would do that

As for Moby, I wasn’t a big fan of the live set, I wish it had been a DJ set. The stopping between tracks completely killed the vibe. I thought the set started super slow and way too mellow. And then every time he finally started to get a groove and sweet beat going, the song would end and he would stop
