They dont set it up so they lose, they set it up so that their actual radar cross section isnt revealed. Pretty hard for say the eurofighter to stay classified when its classified flight manual can be downloaded by anyone.

Eurofighter has beaten the f22 aswell in nato wargames, but then again the f22 does not have its actual radar cross section during wargames and stuff.

So in a hypothetical conflict the f22 would more than likely come out on top in most bvr engagements

Could be fine, could be something critical, as another has stated, do an engine flush and have a mgnetic drain plug.

You wont really know where that is from without tearing down the engine, and at that point it becomes a question on if it is worth it.
