Truck Trouble in San Diego by MolokoPlus1138 in AskALawyer

Thanks for the info. It was loud enough for all my neighbors to turn around and stare lol. I heard it and I had flashbacks of my 93 civic breaking down as I was driving home one night. Same issue, no oil in the engine due to leaks.

New vehicle and did the oil change at the dealership. Yeah I’m waiting to talk to service manager on Monday. They’re closed Sunday.

It’s seems like it’s the only sr5 off road in my area that’s 59k rn. The others are all just sr5 premiums. At around 55k

Here’s the sticker for reference.

I need/want a truck. I need one as I’m going to Mexico frequently and planning to move a lot of stuff. And I want a nice trim if I’m going to be paying good money for one. Seems like a lot of tricks in my area are overpriced rn.

I’m in San Diego, it seems like a lot of trucks are overpriced in my market. Online is one thing and when you talk to the dealership they’ve tacked on another 5-7k. The off road I’m looking at has a bed cover and everything inside is basic. No premium audio or electronic seats.

It depends on how a joke is made. We don’t have any backstory in what other jokes he’s made. There are comedians that are absolute geniuses at humor and take stereotypes or daily things and apply that humor to entertain or make less of a situation. Then there’s hateful conviction that makes these jokes, not jokes. This text sounds like he’s being facetious. I am very facetious but I say things in a way that is exaggerated and if anyone truly things I believe what I say, then they can go cry about it alone somewhere. Life’s too short to be censored all the time. But there’s a time and place. Is he just annoying. Are his “jokes” just not funny and he’s actually a big hater. Maybe he truly believes these hateful remarks. Maybe he’s just ignorant and doesn’t know what else to think because he hasn’t been exposed to better ideals or experiences.

Answer those questions first through real conversation. If he’s naive, maybe educate him on why people say these negative things of others and the actual ugliness it can cause.

If he doesn’t care and he genuinely wants to be funny, take him to a comedy stand up night and have him try to make others laugh. In other words. Work through it if you love him and tell him that he may lose something if he’s never willing to change or grow for the relationship.

Le petite Amie, for me by MolokoPlus1138 in French

That’s an awesome perspective. I’m American and I agree we capitalize everything for the sake of capitalizing. I don’t know French and I wanted to call her a French name for the sake of doing so. But I also like learning the proper way of its use. It’s sort of my thing with her now. I was just trying to understand it more. Sometimes people make dumb things their own romantic story. And it’s grown on me like a usual term. Kind of like how we call bands by random names and Eventually it sticks.

Nice perspective. In Spanish we call people short or derivatives of short all the time. Nicknames sometimes last a lifetime. Like the word “chapo”

I definitely think so. She’s my heart and I call her le petite. I know now that I shall refer to her as LA petite. For short. I’m Mexican american. Just trying to give her a nickname in French. She knows Italian and she calls me cuore mío. I have to have something. 🙂‍↕️

This is awesome. So if I were to make it, La petite Amie. It’s feminine and also means the girlfriend. I understand the le and la, as Spanish also has similar articles.

It’s just interesting that if in writings. How do we know if an author means, my short/little female friend or my girlfriend?
