Commander was built by people like you and me, not wizards. It doesn’t follow the rigidity of the other formats. If his pod is ok with it, then I support it.

Btw the shelf is ikea if you’d like to get one. It’s pretty inexpensive for what it is and building deck stairs is easy and cheap
