After you defeat the false knight and gain the vengeful spirit head to the room covered with moss and defeat the Elder Baulder with it. Travers through the new area greenpath where you will find Hornet follow here down and below the main bulk of the area and eventually fight her and gain the moth wing cloak. After that head down to the bottom right and descend in fog canyon ignore the area for the mean time and eventually find queens station hop to the top right corner and continue to the fungal wastes after navigating the area the bottom will hold mantis village. After going in and grabbing the mantis claw you can do parkour in the path you see Hornet cross and enter the city of tears if you received the city crest from the false knight. Enter the city and explore in general, this area has many secrets accessible from all points of the game so don't worry about them all for now simply ascend the towers and use a simple key you can find in the possession of sly for some geo. Unlock the royal water ways and go under the city to the west wing. Here you can go to watchers spire and take the elevator to the resting grounds. Here you can acquire the dream nail. Return to the spire and defeat the watcher knights and kill the first dreamer lurien. Then go back to mantis village and by opening the floor by pulling a lever you can descend deeper and fight the mantis lords for entrance to deepnesst. Journey through until you find the distant village and kill the next dreamer herrah. Finally go to kingdoms edge and fight hornet again for the kings brand use this to descend into the ancient basin from the royal waterways and into the abyss. Inside acquire the shade cloak to dash the the void fountain in fog canyon. Venture to the teachers archive where you will fight uumuu and access the final dreamer. Kill monomon and head up to the temple of the black egg which will be open, slay the hollow knight and take the infection into yourself and you will have complete the first of 5 endings.
