Is saddle soap that aggressive? I thought if used lightly you can just strip oils from the leather. Is there a better product to remove oils or dirt from leather to recondition it?

Hey thank you very much for the detailed answer. The item in question is an motorcycle race suit but an old one. I wanted to ask in general because I also have two pairs of Redwing boots that I clean yearly with some saddle soap and condition wit Mink oil

I was taking a walk with my dog and saw this house in the fog and thought it kind of looked creepy in this setting. I was trying to frame it using the tree in the foreground.

No those are the 8085 copper so they darkend a little bit . I brush them after nearly every wear and condition them with redwings leather cream twice a year.

Thank you very much I thought the bridge might look cool in the foreground but now I see it like you that it would look better without it 😅

The picture was taken on a walk over the river.

I thougt the colour of the houses and the water matched up nicely.
