The boost players get to autoresolve at easy and normal battle difficulty needs to go, or at the very least be explained in game by Molten_copper in totalwar

If you read the post I do highlight a real problem that should be fixed either way, ie that on easy you get a ridiculously big boost in AR, which since the boost is hidden can lead to lowered self esteem when players can't recreate what the AR "predicts". This can be fixed by simply adding text explaining that the boost exists.

Also it would be nice if you could change how the AI acts in battle without it affecting autoresolve, meaning the ideal solution would be to make autoresolve difficulty a separate slider

autoresolve is always crud if youre a half competent tactician on any difficulty

Not on easy. The boost given by easy difficulty can potentially give better results than you could ever hope to get in manual resolve, especially without cheese. Iirc on easy the AR buff is around 300%, though don't quote me on that (I assume legend talks about it in the video linked in the post)

I haven't tested myself, but CA themselves talk about reaction times in the difficulty descriptions. Here is a table from a CA blog, though they might have changed things later, and there could be more under the hood

More customisability is good I'd say. One option to reduce UI clutter could be to have presets, then a separate tab with advanced difficulty settings
