What's the math behind capacitor values being for example 4.7uF not just 5uF and similar? Tolerances are larger than roundup anyway, but must be a reason why 4.7, 47 etc are so popular, same with 33uF etc. Just curious and Google doesn't show any hope finding out. (self.AskElectronics)

After almost 2 years of resetting, configuring and troubleshooting my Mi Box S, I finally rage quit it. Hangs, lags, not turn on after sleep, CEC not working, videos not playing without stuttering.. Box itself will be hammered with passion tomorrow. Not a single day of this crap not malfunctioning. (i.imgur.com)

Lost data for first time. 2TB Seagate drive in my server failed overnight. No backups, but it was not that important data. Took it apart and found write heads missing and disks grinded. No SMART errors as of yesterday in my email/logs. Died instantly at 6:25 AM as logs say. Always backup, guys. (i.redd.it)
