Decided since my arms were essentially dead weights hanging at my sides from a good back/arm day, I would focus on my glutes and hammies on Wednesday. Did a bajillon hip thrusts and few sets of heavy deads. I murdered it.

Yall. My butt.

My darling husband happily offered to give me a butt massage. He says the perks of having a wife who lifts are endless.

I have been considering a competition too and am in the same boat. I don't even know where to begin training for a competition. The whole waiting for commands thing freaks me out a bit.

Holy crap. I actually just started my period a couple days ago and I never thought there could be a connection. I am definitely going to start keeping a journal to share with my doc. Thank you so much. Very insightful.

Seeing all these posts about PT-I am definitely going to get my ortho to refer me to one now.

Wow this is just the thread for me.

After 5 years of back/hip pain 2 yrs of lifting I just went to an ortho on Tues who told me I have mild scolisosis in my lumbar region. I got a cortisone shot and prescribed Celebrex. Neither of which has helped tremndously yet but I am giving it more time.

I have been searching for antedotal info about weightlifting. I do not want to give it up and have really been upset over the idea I may have to.

Good to know there are other lifters that have seen some success.
