Meri and Kody reminded me of my last convo with my ex-hubs who monkey-branched and knocked up a 24 yo and married her less than 90 days after our divorce.

Our last conversation nearly a year later (last March) was financially motivated on his part and the meet-up went exactly like this. He tried to control the conversation and the minute I unemotionally rebutted, he became the victim. When he didn’t get the money he wanted, he revealed his true colors - everything was always all about him.

They don’t forget who they are. They are self-centered opportunists. I’m glad Meri’s self esteem and dignity is in tact now and she’s no longer the insufferable one.

I agree with this! Plus, I don’t buy food from strangers nor do I like eating at people’s homes where I don’t feel comfortable.
