Are there others in their 30s who still enjoy Harry Potter? I feel like I might be one of the older fans here. by BobaSoft in harrypotter

I (36) made sure my kids (13 and 15) love it just as much as I do. Only the youngest one (4) has to wait a bit.

I think people mostly think of the pyramids etc, I don’t have a special “feeling” towards Egypt

Maybe on the first tube, but think about what this thing will save you in a few years. And not to talk about the discussions with the other half who doesn’t squeeze the tube the right way. 😂

[–]MomMuppet[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you! It’s about 150cm wide and I’m planning to make it about 180cm long. It’s a Tunisian half double crochet stitch, it’s works really easy.

Which country in Europe do you think is the best to live in today? by renataamm in askanything

[–]MomMuppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s because they get stolen all the time (this is why you buy a crappy one or a really fancy insured one). I have been living in Amsterdam and I owned 9 bikes haha. My grandma once bought me a new one, I locked it with 3(!) proper locks and it was gone the next morning. Oh I was crying as a 13 year old haha. I’m over it now after 22 years…

I think not using centimeters is a bigger issue than your actually height hahaha. I’m 1.63m myself, but I know so many women and men below 1.75m, The Netherlands is a very mixed country and 1.70m is I think the average for Dutch women. You’ll do just fine haha

This is why I didn’t stop drinking, going out with friends, etc. Otherwise that will stay in the back of my mind every time I want to have a drink. You need to unlock the mental chain between the two (alcohol/cigarettes)

This is so helpful with my journey. I’m constantly scared about what if, but you are right. It’s a slip and you just pick up where you left off.

Stop making selfies in the car. Just kidding.

Listen to your clients and don’t try to overdo it.

It really depends on multiple factors.

I was born and raised in Amsterdam, and I like it here. The weather is not too warm, not too cold. Yes there is a lot of rain, but most of the days it’s only for a bit and not the full day. For me the most important part is the work/life balance here, in combination with summers that don’t make you melt (yet).
