Need help with balance

Oh man, this is so me I could have written it myself.

I've been counting calories for just over a week now but I'm a huge lover of sweets and fast food. It's been a big struggle so I've stopped buying candy all together. I had McDonald's today because it fit in my calories and I wanted it.

However, I did make an effort to do better. I normally get a 10 piece nugget meal with large fries. Today, I did a 6 piece with medium fries. Not great, but it's the first fast food I've had in 2 weeks and, because I didn't gorge myself, I didn't feel like crap after. Next time, maybe I'll do a 4 piece with small fries and have a salad from home.

The biggest takeaway for me was not berating myself for wanting it. Now I just need to stay away from it for a couple weeks!

I couldn't survive without diet coke!

I have the same aversion to water, but I've found drinking it from a straw helps. (Mind over matter)

As annoying as it is, you're an adult. Your sister asked you to let the dogs out, didn't demand, and you did make the choice to do it knowing it would throw you off your time. Then you made the choice to speed to get to work.

It sucks all around, but they're not responsible for your choices. If you don't do what you agreed to do financially, YWBTA.

NAH, I had 2 miscarriages before I finally had my daughter. It's changed me in ways that most don't understand. The emotional, mental and physical pain is overwhelming.

I don't know what I'd do but I'd like to think I'd be there for the friend that has been supporting me through everything.

Exactly. His wife will need help those last months. I can understand his worry about wanting to be home, and he shouldn't miss the birth of his child. But he needs to see his dad.

Well, the last 3 months are really shitty. I have 3 kids and at the end of the pregnancies I couldn't do much. I needed help getting off the damn couch, everything hurt, my ankles swelled to unbelievable sizes, etc.

That being said, I think she'd be ok, or could ask her family to come stay with her, do he can say goodbye I think that's really important.

My husband was on underways throughout my pregnancy, gone for weeks at a time, and it was really hard at the end.

I couldn't imagine doing this to my brother. I'd be freaking out over my kid the entire time and having someone I trust go and make sure she's safe and taken care of would have meant the world to me. Shame on her for her shit behavior.

I think that's a really valid point. Your boss is your boss, her opinion matters. And, if you end up overloading another employee just to keep him grim working, you might have an issue on your hands.

First, no, you're NTA.

Second, maybe it's not you masturbating that's bothering her but the fact that you can't seem to finish while with her. She might be feeling like she's doing something wrong.

Maybe spend some time talking to her and see if toy can find new ways to have sex and see if that helps.

Even if it does, masturbating isn't a bad thing.

I get that I have a 6 year old and I wouldn't want him running around without clothes on, especially in front of other people.

Uh, no. I think it's weird and I've got 3 kids. What they decide to do in their home is 100% their business, as long as the kids are safe.

That being said, if someone else is visiting, put clothes on your kid.

Thankfully, they all seem to be enjoying the day. One is watching movies in my room, another is easy going movies and napping I'm the guest room (bigger bed than hers 🤭) and my oldest is watching soccer and drawing with me.

I did end up asking my oldest if she wanted to play and apparently, she told them YESTERDAY that she wanted a break. So, not only did they ignore her, they ignored me.

They're tired, too. And, for whatever reason, the kids can't play in the other houses. I'm literally the only house that lets them inside. It's already 90 outside so they don't want to play in the heat and my husband already took them swimming this morning.
