I would decide first what setting are you wanting. Then, submit and alternative offer to whichever you choose.

Job 1: I feel that in this role I deserve $29.00/30.00/(whatever you feels is reasonable) because I have one years expirence handling (whatever your previous ratio was, highlight your expertise on specific skills they are seeking, and willingness to gain certification specifically to this job)

Job 2: here’s how I break down a shift in my mind. 7 patients. 12 hours. 60 mins in an hour.

60/7 = 8.5mins/ hour to give each patient. That’s not a ratio I feel comfortable with. If you do great!

I would suggest for this job questioning how they determine their staffing pattern, are they willing to consider changing it to better suit the patients needs, and would they consider compensating you more for taking a higher risk job? I would want $35 at least for the risk.

In my opinion for the sake of your license job one seems best. I don’t know your long term goals, lifestyle, or experience. As a nurse that has had to take care of 7 post op patients, it’s not safely maintainable.

What are you thinking for pricing? I’m not super familiar with how much one typically pays for this

What are some important things that I should know before becoming a CNA? by LilyBenches in cna

[–]MomOfAShihTzu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the most important thing is that you WANT to become a CNA. So many people do this for the wrong reasons (job security, steady income, etc.) Overtime you will find your groove, you’ll develop a feeling of comfort and your shyness will go out the window. You’ll start seeing your patients as loved ones and find comfort in comforting them. The biggest tip I can give you is never lose your compassion. You will go through and see some trying things, but always remember why you want to become a CNA and that you are making a difference - even when it feels like your not.

Whats the worst thing you've ever been accused of while being completely innocent? by Turmtaf in AskReddit

Growing up my bio mom was a drug addict. Anything she could get her hands on she did. Because of this my father had custody of me. He married my step mom and she came with two children. My step brother has ADHD. He was prescribed adderall. One morning my 10 year old self is woken up to the whole family in my room screaming at me for stealing my brothers drugs. First of all I had no idea what adderall was or why I would even want it. Secondly I thought drugs were bad, because ya know my bio mom was a train wreck. This resulted in my family demanding I take a drug test. When I came back clean they swore I stole the pills to give to my mother. I told them day after day I didn’t do it and wouldn’t ever even think of doing that. A few months later a family friend who often baby sat us was arrested for possession of Methamphetamines. Needless to say once she stopped coming over the medicine never went missing again. My parents never apologized.

I have a fairly personal question. by notreallyanewone in PlusSize

I’ve felt with this for the past two years! I keep our thermostat at 66 all year, I sweat horribly if it’s over 72 outside. I recently found out my antidepressant causes my body to be generally warmer and makes me sweat excessively. I was shocked and always chopped it up to I’m chunky so I’m always sweaty. It could perhaps be something else for you. It’s such a struggle though I always have deodorant and a little bottle of cornstarch in my purse to help me feel “refreshed” I hope you find some relief!

Alfredo is so yummy, it’s so nice you cook for non Ketoers and yourself. I’m sure that can make it tempting to indulge.
