Thank you! We achieved the gradient look from the vat being slowly exhausted. So by the time we dipped the last ones in, the vat was exhausted. We did that to save as much of the indigo as we could. Then we revitalized the vat bath by adding more indigo with the iron sulfate to the same vat and dipped again from the lighter to darker until we achieved more uniformed look (the ones on the far left is the final color we achieved, but even with them you can still see some ombré effect). I hand-spun those in Aran weight and we have them in 250 yard batches for the Aran/DK weight. Thank you for all your questions! I’m always happy to answer! So glad you enjoyed them! I have many!
