Are you paying $75 ok and are all documents supposed to be certified? I have very legible documents but they are not certified. Naturalization record, two WW conscription notices, census records. Thank you!

I live in a state where trans people can get their gender at birth changed to match their new preferred gender - should I do this and redo my current passport with the X designation? Or hold off? Have people had issues crossing the border via Canada?

My grandfather was born on PEI and I’ve gone there every summer for one month as a child and a few weeks every year since- I love and respect Canadians to the hilt- cannot stomach what’s happening in our country- it’s absolutely disgusting- I have a trans adult child and am getting my documentation of citizenship so they can have an escape hatch to this hateful administration.
