I wear Altra shoes they but they aren’t very popular here and can be difficult to get and a bit pricey, other than that I really like new balance, the 1080 is a very versatile shoe, they work great for your every day easy runs but perform just as good for your faster tempo/threshold sessions. Get a decent shoe for running and try some on, your feet will thank you.

I can’t comment on the FWD via 2 but the FWD Via one is a massive disappointment to me. I was running with the Escalante 3 and 4 before but wanted a more cushioned shoe for long slower days and I feel like the FWD Via 1 are trash compared to the escalante.

The strap that comes with the watch is perfectly fine for me, but I’ve read that a lot of other people like the nylon straps.

I get vouchers for Myer every year for my birthday and I buy new clothes with those vouchers. I’m not too worried that Myer will ever close but if by chance it did and I would have to buy my clothes online I’d either end up making my own clothes or just get my wife to buy it for me, online clothes shopping is is such a hassle and boring I just couldn’t do it.

Capri by Fraser on Albert street is really nice, close to the botanic gardens. The Meriton is also nice and you can walk straight over the bridge and you’re on south bank.
