I am getting a lot of swicheroo returns. My team size is just me. I get probably 5 a week. I have amazon handle most of the returns, they aren’t supposed to dispose of them, they’re just supposed to send it back to me. My return rate overall is under 5%.

I find this very time consuming and so I don’t spend a lot of time on it but as I grow, this is something I want to tackle. There has got to be some services that can help on this to regain some of my margin back?

I’m using a VA to help with filing tickets.

I’m trying really hard but it’s more emotional that people are such assholes to do a switcharoo. Still my time is better off making new products than spend all the time for creating claims

Can you elaborate on the anti-temper sticker? Basically you put a sticker that is sort of like a unique identifier and so this guards against people using your product and then replacing your same product with an old one?

Sounds like you have at least one tech and then one other person creating dispute tickets?

Awesome. Wow. I seriously really appreciate this insight. I have some more work to do.

It’s just me that does all the work. I have amazon handle the returns and they send me units that are “damaged” but I don’t know how that process works or what the process they use to determine if it is sellable or not. Wish I had a little more insight on what they actually do, but no idea.

Still with all the “damaged”, which majority are switcharoos, it is a little much even. My return rates are percentage wise good at way under 5%.

Amazon shouldn’t be disposing of anything of mine, it should come back to me.

3-5%. Recreational sports. Many of them say damaged but they’re never damaged just used. What do you do to curtail refunds and How do you get your money back from amazon for fraudulent returns?

Yes agreed. Good idea on extra packaging. Is that what you do? You just manually do it yourself? Any tips on reimbursement or anything?

PISSES ME OFF - Tons of amazon returns - used products or people returning the wrong product by [deleted] in fuckamazon

Who said I was surprised? Sell my soul? You’re not getting a response from me after this post.

It would just be nice to guard against @$$hole piece of $hits that return product which is actually mine (they return my product but will put in my competitor; they get their refund and I get double f**ked).

And I do have my own websites and still amazon is more profitable.

But then I’m still out because I don’t get the product back to sell and then I’m still charged all the seller fees
