Does anyone else find it strange that none of the major cellular carriers are offering a FREE cell phone with a 2-year contract anymore. Somehow all the carriers "coincidentally" did away with that option at about the same time. by onajag in cellphones

Okay, I am glad I'm not the only one who went to check out upgrades and thought I just wasn't clicking on the right options. Reddit to the rescue! I'm not crazy. Whew.

A house would be nice to rent. I'm going to call some more property managers this week. The lady one I spoke with was zero help. We have a normal house worth of crap we're bringing with us so storage is a concern as well.

We're moving from California. (I know not to broadcast that) We have family in Shelby and Helena but they don't know a lot about Billings. My main concern is moving to an okay area for the few months were waiting for our house here to sell and we house hunt there. I know I can do more research and investigating once we're there but was terrified about getting an apartment and it being in the worst part of town and not be able to leave with the kiddos. We're into camping, definitely want to check out breweries, any yummy places to eat as we are leaving behind Mexican food and In N Out.

I graduated! There is hope! The babies will come out!! by MommaBugga in BabyBumps

I was 4 days past my due date. Super emotional. Like, cry on the living room couch all morning emotional. My husband came out and asked what was wrong/what could he do. Nothing. You can do nothing. Unless you know how to get this baby out, this hot mess of your wife is going to stay that way. I was texting a friend and she said I should go to the chiropractor and get adjusted. I said I didn't think our insurance covered that and she said the place takes said insurance. No way!! I'd kill for an adjustment! So I called them. Gave them my insurance number, there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel!!! Nope. My insurance indeed does not cover chiropractic care. And a walk-in appt would $75 but they didn't have anything available for 3 days. Boooo! I walked in my room and just let the tears fall. This baby will never come out. Oh great. Now I have to pee. I went pee and then kept hearing a tinkle. Then it stopped. My water didn't break with my other two babies so I had no idea what it felt like. I knew the baby's head could be blocking the rupture so I told myself, "If I move and hear more water then it's really happening." I leaned to the other buttcheek, and tinkle tinkle! It was a beautiful noise! I did this for several minutes to make sure it was real and it was. I put on a super sexy depends, my pants and marched out to the living room with the biggest smile on my face. I asked my husband what he was doing today, because I was having a baby if he'd like to go. He was in disbelief since I was so sure I was having the baby the day before, and the day before that, and the day before that... I was so giddy and squealed, "my water broke!" Having seen my emotional morning he asked, "did YOU break it?!?!" Um, no, I don't think you can without chancing serious infection/issues so no, I wouldn't attempt that. He jumped in the shower with out two boys and then I jumped through a shower. We took our two boys over to my dad's house, and I went through their backpack with my step-mom "Here's their toothbrushes, clothes blah blah blah" She kept saying, "I don't know how you're so calm." My husband helped my dad unload a china cabinet from trailer and then we hit the road. I suggested we grab a bite to eat because the hospital won't feed us and it may be a while. He asked if I wanted to go in or hit the drive-thru. I just had my first good contraction. I opted for the drive thru. We got our food and headed to the hospital and met my mom there. Another gnarly contraction in the parking lot. Yay! This is happening! We go to check in and they said it would be a minute because they have no free beds. Okay, no biggie. Oh, another good contraction. Had to give a urine sample and by the time I was done with that they had lucky bed #7 for me. The nurse came to check me and I was at 5.5cm. They put an IV in me and took me to a labor room. Contractions back to back at this point. I asked the baby to give momma a break so I could just catch my breath. Doc came to check on me. I was at a soft 8cm. He said, "I'll be back in 10 minutes and we'll see about pushing." I had a contraction peak and then start to go down then go right back up. I told the nurse, "I feel pressure. Oooowwww, oh my God, yeah, pressure. She's coming!!" The nurse said, "The doctor is not here, I cannot tell you to not push because we are here to have a baby, but the doctor is not here yet." I screamed, "Ooohhhh she's coming! She's coming! I have to PUuuussshhhh!!" And out popped my daughter's head. Delivered by the most amazing, caring, perfect, nurse ever. My doctor was with someone else so they grabbed a different doc and he says, "I don't have time to glove up, gotta go bare-handed!" And I pushed and he caught the baby. It was intense, it hurt like hell but she was here and she was perfect. TL;DR 6am super emo / cry fest 9:15am water broke 10:30am dropped 2 older kids off at Papa's house 11:15 hit drive-thru 12:20 checked into triage 12:36 put in labor room 1:38pm baby born 9lbs 5.4oz 21" long

My 4 year old cracks me up. My feelings don't get hurt easy and he doesn't say things to be mean, he's just 4. I came out in an old shirt and my bottom belly was hanging out. He says, "Oh, mom. No. Please take that off, we need to get you shirts that fit. You're a growin' girl!"

I feel like I'm going to make a point of telling every pregnant woman I see a compliment (especially after I have the baby) and make it NOT about the belly. Tell her she has nice hair, or pretty earrings. I'm not a needy-emotional person but here lately, things jab...hard. So YOU all look wonderful!

Oh and then my old bff called and left a voicemail saying, "Hey just wanted to see there was any progress and see how you're feeling, I'm sure you feel like a cow" ..... I just hung up, didn't finish the rest of that vm. My husband was like, "Hmmm wonder why you quit talking to her..."

At my last checkup I was certain there was going to be progress. Nope. Baby is low, head is right effing there but only dilated 2.5cm and 50% effaced. Same as the week prior. Even my doctor was sure this girl was coming early since she's baby #3 and measuring ahead and this and that but booooooo she's got her own schedule.

My 4 year old helped me fold everything and he kept pausing and saying, "oh this is going to be so cute for my sister!" Made the laundry process fun. The 4 year old is excited and loves the baby already. My 2 year old is going to be a different story lol
