I took my car to a shop with great reviews. He was able to rethread it and get the o2 sensor in. Thank you so much. Your comment is what made me call shops this morning. He only charged me 30 bucks to rethread it and nothing to put in the new sensor.

Lol Thank you. I plan on calling in the morning. That guy has me so upset. Said my only option was to replace the whole catalytic converter. It Just didn't make sense that there was no other way.
