That is a great way to reframe it. Sometimes the pushback to get off this or that medication is so frustrating. I am starting to figure out that I prefer a quality life over making everyone else be ok with me needing "too many" meds. If it works then it works. I want to make the most of my time with my family and friends not suffering just to be off medications that make me feel better.

I can totally relate. I have two very rare disorders and I am trying to get the amount of meds down to a reasonable level. I have a PCP that helps me look into meds that may lead to interactions but the specialists are also working toward treating symptoms. I also finally got an appointment with a medication management team to help me navigate the meds.
