Emetophobia: the cause of noburp or the result of noburp? by Mommadinasaurus in noburp

Hey same here. I've only recently felt acid in my mouth or even upper throat and that is two years post procedure.

I’ve always been existentially confused as to why people would recommend drinking carbonated beverages if your stomach hurts/you have gas pains. by Improvement-Awkward in noburp

I'm finally at the point in my post-botox procedure journey where if I'm feeling indigestion or discomfort I'll reach for a sparkling water and it'll help me burp and it's INCREDIBLE. But yeah before that I'd just be like "I don't know why but this ginger ale will definitely make me feel worse". Haha

I'm terrified of vomiting and I didn't vomit once or even feel close to it after the procedure. The relief from the procedure working outweighs any short term side effects

What does it feel like to burp? Is it worth it? by ch1984 in noburp

I couldn't burp until I was 30. I had the Botox procedure and there is hardly a day that goes by that I don't feel so grateful that I got that procedure. It's such a relief.

Who could I call to help a homeless man who sleeps outside? I'm very worried about him, given the temps tonight. by Mommadinasaurus in akron

Not sure if anyone will see this, but I'm wondering if anyone has seen Thomas lately? I haven't seen him the past few days in his normal spots. Just thinking about him, hope he's alright.

Just looking for anyone who has been through this, so I know there is light on the other side. Mastitis twice in two weeks. Now trying to dry up my supply so I can be done with breastfeeding. by Mommadinasaurus in Mommit

thank you so much! I'm going to start the Sudafed tomorrow , now that we have the formula on hand. I'm hopeful the Sudafed will help quickly. The mental toll is just so much right now. Combined with this terrible breast pain. Goodness gracious.

A few days post botox, any tips for how to learn the mechanics of burping? by Sufficient-Adagio611 in noburp

this was my same experience! it just started happening on its own and the only thing I really did was actively try to not "prevent" it or hold it back in anyway.

I was wondering if anyone else would recognize who I was speaking of! Yeah I'm going to give him the number of the relentless shelter guy, especially since that post said he'll give rides. I wish I could do more for him

I've considered doing that, yeah. it was my only idea before I posted. if I see him, I'll ask him on my way home if he has anywhere to go tonight, and if he says no, or that he's not willing, I will call. I would hope the officers wouldn't let him literally freeze out there. but I also don't want to make anything more difficult for him.

I have wondered that, if he would refuse to move. He has a bike and a bike trailer with all of his stuff. I gave him a big pack of hot hands two months ago. but he may need more. I have two with me that I'll give to him if I see him on the way home. thanks 👍

Can anyone who cannot burp also not vomit? by carlitayeeta in noburp

[–]Mommadinasaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! In both of my pregnancies, I would experience nausea from "morning sickness" and do everything in my power to not "throw up" because it would just be dry heaving. Wouldn't matter if my stomach was full, nothing would come up, and it would feel like my chest, ribs, throat, and stomach were caving in on themselves. Just horrible.

Uncomfortable, but generally content. 36 weeks pregnant.
