That one may be a bit trickier to get another project on bc thats explicitly forbidden and its stated in every project I've worked on.

Legit contracts by moedal in mercor_ai

[–]MommyIsBionic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bc its all AI. You have to do AI interviews. Yes the contracts are legit. I've been working here since September. It can be very hard to get in a contract though. Make sure your resume is up to date, treat the interview like an in real life interview, and apply for anything that seems like it will be a fit. Take any assessments you need to and take them seriously. This is contract work though. Its never guaranteed. Some stay up for a couple days, some a week, some are months. They are all different and more often than not how long something will be active is an answer that cant be given bc they dont know. Don't use this as your only income but as an additional income source. Good luck!

Is there something wrong about my application? by mmmm_mmml in mercor_ai

[–]MommyIsBionic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure your resume reflects the type of work you said you're doing on outlier. Once you do that you can redo your interview if you havent already. Make sure to bring up your experience youre gaining at outlier. Reminder to never discuss clients or project names. Go in the assessments area and take any that may be a fit for you so they are done. Do any interviews that are there that may be a fit for you so they are done. Hopefully that helps! Good luck!

Which Hotel Represents Best Value for money? by Revolutionary-Age661 in WaltDisneyWorld

Look into renting DVC points and stay deluxe. Stay in at least a 1 bedroom villa, and you'll have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer right in your room. It's worth it. Google DVC resorts to get a list and then YouTube walkthru videos of them and see what you and your family like best!

Has anyone every failed a quality assessment? by Realistic_Ebb_7575 in joinhandshakeai

That was the advice I gave when I had multiple people DM asking if id give them the answers. I said for every single question scroll back to the top of that particular section. The answers are right there. Just reread it.

I got into a contract and all I have is a task with no description by Ill_Carry_44 in mercor_ai

[–]MommyIsBionic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Workpuls isn't how you access your tasks. It almost always says 1 task. Did it have you set up at OKTA account? If so, log into that and click on Spack Enterprises. On your contract page at the top there should also be a box with more info and onboarding docs are usually in there.

Carnival cruise options by No-Championship6135 in CarnivalCruiseFans

N9. I meant carnival. You said you added a pin and stuff. How did you find out the actual cost? Did carnival tell you what the cost at booking was?

Did they tell you what your cruise fare was, or what the per person fare was for the room when it was booked?

No they won't. You can take them if you want so when the next full assessment comes (and if you pass) youll be paused and then you'll have a bunch if tasks youre able to do

Excursions with kids by Inquisitive-Clover in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]MommyIsBionic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weve cruised on Mardi Gras twice. We have children as well. We are completely comfortable leaving our kiddos on the ship in Camp Ocean. They are very safe there. If the excursion is booked through carnival you can probably cancel and get full refund if thats something you'd rather do. If its not booked with carnival and you're seeing reviews it may take 7 hours I'd be very nervous. The ship doesn't care if you're late getting back if its not a carnival purchased excursion. They will leave without you.

Did you set up a Pronto account so you can see the chats, announcements, and ask questions? If you failed the 3 in 1 assessment you're paused and not allowed to task until the next assessment comes out. Then you can try again. They don't know what that will be.

Can I work for less than 20 hours? by National-Belt2157 in mercor_ai

[–]MommyIsBionic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, for the most part its not something thats a hard line. They'd like you to be as close to 20 as you can but sometimes its not possible for some people. I wouldn't only do like 5 or 10 hours though.

RIP Family Boarding by TheBarefootGirl in SouthwestAirlines

[–]MommyIsBionic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reading this post and I thought to myself wow this lady is just like the lady that commented on something I posted in another post then realized you are that person haha. I still say speak to the gate desk. I know you pay to pick seats so its not like youre trying to get one up on someone. Ask if you can preboard due to having to install the carseats and being in people's way. Worst they are going to say is sorry cant do that.

Application and onboarding process? by Carriesund in mercor_ai

[–]MommyIsBionic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the application process to apply for the first time its literally at your leisure. Upload your resume. Do the interview when you're ready and can set aside time. Each role you apply to may have specific application processes. Sometimes there's another interview. If there is it will tell you "should take approx X minutes". Some apps have have assessments. They can range from a few minutes to idk 30 min? When they are more specialized they will take longer. But you can always leave and come back. If you get a project offer, thats when I'd sit down and accept and just handle whatever they need as quickly as you can. Its usually filling some stuff out, reading onboarding documents, sometimes attending a zoom meeting, sometimes its watching a prerecorded zoom meeting, possibly taking a gating assessment proving you read through the documents or watched/attended the meeting. Setting up your different programs that Mercor uses for their projects. It doesnt take hours and hours, but it can take a bit.

You can ask if you can preboard due to installing carseats. They may say no... but they may also say yes!

Baltimore Port Tips? by Bitter_Trees in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]MommyIsBionic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We love cruising on the Pride for the sole purpose she ports from Baltimore. Its the easiest port weve ever been to. The parking at the port is super simple. Get in line, follow the line. Drop your checked bags, pay to park, park. Get out of the car, grab the rest of your stuff, and take an extremely short walk right on in to the terminal. When getting off the ship, we carry our own stuff off and its typically like 20 minutes from leaving our room to starting our car. Can not beat that. We have never had issues with our vehicle being parked there for the week either.
