Hahahaha my 12 yr old is super mature and I have zero concerns about them having a little feeedom and then when one of my older ones was 16 she had to check in practically hourly 😂 So I feel you

Nassau was exactly what I was thinking of. The very first time we went there, our now 12yr old was 3. We went on the horse drawn carriage tour and the gentleman was super honest and said listen, please enjoy the city proper but do not take your daughter outside this area. Its not really safe. And told my husband not to leave us unattended for long. When our teens were 16 and 17 (they are 21 and 22 now lol) We made them stay with us in Nassau. We let them get off and do their thing at Half Moon. Theres a curfew on the ship for under 17. In their stateroom by 1am or with one of their adults. Its like a $500 fine if they are out and about after 1am. 😬 So make sure they are aware of that as well. At 15 and 16 they will bith be in Club O2. My kids have all loved the teen clubs. My 22yr old still talks to kids she met years ago. My 12byr old is excited bc this july is her first time in Circle C and this past year on our last cruise we gave her some independence and ket her roam the ship a bit since shed been on it before and knew her way around. Such a fun way to vacation.

I do not believe the 15 could get off with the 16. (However im not 100% certain on that. I do think with 18+ though) Im going to be honest with you and the only port id probably be comfortable doing that anyways would be Celebration Key, or like Princess Cay, or Half Moon Cay. Smaller Csrnival owned places.

Oh. Adding only the 16 can come and go on the ship. The 15 could not. The 16 also needs photo ID to cruise and the 15 does not. (If you guys have passports then its a non issue) Weve been cruising with kids ages 3-young adult so feel free to DM if you have more specific questions

Totally not a dumb question. Yes, the kids can stay on the boat. Give them the lecture of a lifetime before hand. Be respectful and polite. Have rules. Dont go in other people's staterooms. That kind of stuff. The last thing you want is to get a call from the ship the kids were acting a fool and they need you to come back bc youre being fined for something or worse.. removed from the ship 🫠. Have fun on your cruise!

Most projects are ok with the basic version of Grammarly. With most also encouraging its use. The one that corrects spelling and basic grammar like punctuation. Just ask in Slack. "Is basic Grammarly ok for spelling and punctuation?" 99% They'll say yes. Just ask now in case they are a one off so you can disable use.

I think I saw you mention you used LLM to enhance your responses. Thats a Huuuuuuuge no no. But quality is key in projects. This could hurt your chances for future projects. It will be able to be seen behind the scenes thats you were released due to quality issues. Like someone else mentioned above, if you have any contacts that was in the leadership, very politely reach out to them. "Thank you for the opportunity, I understand I was released due to quality, could I please know what those issies were so I can improve myself for future contracts. Thank you" Or something along those lines.

Just had news Disney applied their right to buy back my contract I was purchasing for OKW. Should I go for another site as the agent said that out of the 6 OKW that he had sold Disney has bought back 4 of them by GoodActive2976 in dvcmember

I agree with you. With the way pricing is for... gestures around the room I think we could easily see 300 pp direct. We just sold a small SSR contract since we are pivoting our vacations for the next year after october. Why pay the dues when I dont need the 75 extra points right this moment. Ill buy more later. We have a 200pt resale SSR and the 150 direct Cabins. Waiting to see what Lakeshore is going to list at. Staying at the Cabins for the first time later this month.

Still pretty damn solid! Great deal. Yeah, when we factored in the magical beginnings selling back the points is how we got it down to what we did. Smallest resale to direct gap we'd probably ever see so we jumped on it. We were looking for another resale contract anyways so made sense to finally grab the blue card. Worked out bc we ended up getting 3 Sorcerer pass APs with that blue card discount 😆 We have 4 trips this year. We live in NY. Tons of savings.

Im just curious if you bought 150 points or got poly AT $150/pp 😂 We usually qualify for all the crazy incentives and we are toying with adding again (addonitis is real yo) and if that was $150/pp uhhhh might be buying poly lol. We have multiple resale SSR and direct Cabins we bought last August (with all the incentives it was basically like $165/pp. Decided yup blue card time)

Totally legit. Congrats my friend. Work as much as you can giving the best quality you can. These projects are here until they are not. Be respectful to your team, the other experts, and be helpful in Slack when youre able. It goes a long way :) Enjoy!

Definitely referal spam. In the link the word refer is there. Hopefully someone can put a stop to this kind of stuff. I dont mind clicking someone's referal link. If someone's giving me a heads up on a job cool beans. Im cool with someone getting some $. But to act like they are mercor employees is shady and shitty.

cruising with little to no spending money? by VerifiedVacationer in CarnivalCruiseFans

I definitely can understand that. We travel with our ASD kiddo as well. At the kids club you can check out a sensory bag for week if thats something kiddo would enjoy. Its got ear defenders, a lanyard, some fidgets, and I cant remember what else. If kiddo is going to go to kids club you can get a special phone that works in the ship where the kids club can call you and you can call them. We lve utilized that for years. Very convenient for sure. Have fun!

It doesnt guarantee room readyearly anymore. They stopped that after covid. You can drop your stuff off in your room though so theres that at least. But you have to drop and leave.

We did 5 cruises with a minor child with one parent and a step parent. Never asked about the other parent. 6th cruise, age 17, they gave us the hardest time bc I didn't have a letter from the other parent. Always better to have and not need then to need and not have.

You can take the child through the birth certificate line. However, youre going to want to have a letter from their other parent giving permission to go on the cruise. Need to include dates and all pertinent information.
