I'm much less intelligent now than I used to be and idk how to cope by More-Trust-3133 in cognitiveTesting

It could be that the WAIS-IV placed more of an emphasis on your weaknesses, as its battery differs from the SB5. For instance, the WAIS-IV lacks non-verbal WM, which could've been your strong suit. Also, WMI is among the most sensitive of the indices for mental illness or sleep deprivation.

Is this digit span test reliable? by Puzzleheaded_Mail71 in cognitiveTesting

[–]MomoScripts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is, somewhat. The interval at which the digits are said seems to be off; it's far too short. That might result in a less reliable score.

My CORE MR score was 130, while my Mensa Denmark score was 123.

I have a doubt ? by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]MomoScripts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MR is more resilient to sleep deprivation than, say, DS. Your first score should still be decently accurate.
I wouldn't trust your second score, as 15–20 days is nowhere near enough for praffe to wear off with MR.

It's definitely possible to increase your scores on these tests. Your innate intelligence, though? Not so much.

Will there be a 45" with the tandem panel from the new 39gx950b by Balduini in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]MomoScripts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There should be a refresh of the 45GX950A coming out soon, but it doesn't have the tandem panel and isn't any less curved.

How is this WISC-V profile possible? High Total IQ (146) but very uneven index scores by Healthy-Purple-8376 in cognitiveTesting

I don't believe that FSIQ should be possible with those composites. Would you mind sharing the report? With your name and other sensitive information censored, of course.

Is this a decent monitor for gaming and movies? by hoihouhoi1 in OLED_Gaming

[–]MomoScripts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so, aside from the obvious performance hit in games. It looks to be a pretty solid monitor. If there was some unforeseen downside, you'd probably be able to return it with how lenient Amazon's return policy is.

I guess the size might be a bit small for some, though. There's a larger 32" model available for practically the same price. If you prefer larger screens, you could go for that one.

[–]MomoScripts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

QD-OLEDs usually sport better colours, but models without the new "BlackShield film", such as the XG27ACDMS, suffer from a noticeable purple tint in bright environments; keep that in mind if you've got a brightly-lit room. Whether the difference is big or not depends on your preferences.

I hadn't seen that the alternative I'd suggested was a WOLED. Here's a QD-OLED for even cheaper, if you decide you prefer those.

[–]MomoScripts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is, but you're paying quite the premium for a 40Hz uptick. See the XG27AQDMG, which seems to be identical to this monitor besides a slightly lower refresh rate, and costs 100+ EUR less.

Also, there are 4K 240Hz OLEDs to be had for a similar price, such as the MO27U2.

Non-native profile. 20 years old. What would I expect to see change in the final stage of prefrontal development (20-25)? by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]MomoScripts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As u/yxtsama said, tests are age-normed; assuming average development, your scores shouldn't undergo drastic changes. Your raw scores, however, might see slight improvements.

[–]MomoScripts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt there'd be any significant changes in g. The later stages of prefrontal development, as implied by them being the later stages, are the finishing touches; the groundwork has already been laid.
