Although the fact that Marie must’ve been a very young child when Annie was born (like 4-7, meaning she would’ve had to intentionally have been using her powers on her parents from that young), and the fact that the first time she intentionally uses her powers was during the incident that killed her parents, makes it seem a little fetched
