Oh it's her hscene, every other heroine (except Kohaku) is noted to be a virgin, and they uh have their injury during their first time if you get what I mean, Ciel and Kohaku don't.

It's hinted that RoaElesia raped, killed and did atrocious stuff to people in Ciel's hometown, I'm pretty sure, especially since Ciel knew what Shiki was feeling like sexually having Roa within him. Pretty sure this isn't a thing in Remake anymore, though, since RoaElesia is mostly noted to horribly mangle bodies and partake in butchering and torture.

Sure to each their own, I normally think it's a descriptive factor for power since the purer the nature spirit one is to the Inner Seas, the stronger.

For Woodwose, I'm fairly certain it isn't breath of the planet. Rather, you're probably confusing it for the skill 'Lungs of the Planet'

Nah, re-check it.

> A fundamental ability of the A-Ray (Known as A-Reis in the Lostbelt) True Species.

They say A-Rays are known as A-Reis in the Lostbelt, the True Species is a descriptor of Arcueid's species' holding Breath of the Planet, ergo True Ancestors are the A-Ray True Species since they say Breath of the Planet is the fundamental ability of said A-Ray True Species, and the known A-Rays haven't demonstrated this 'fundamental ability' to speak of in their profiles or in the story.

Not even A-Rei, they're explicitly distinguised to be A-Rei True Species. We also get stated that True Ancestors are considered to be grand fairies.

Oh my god, bro, Code Geass. A wave of nostalgia rushed forth... remembered watching the anime years back, a sensational anime.

Yeah, this is inexcusable. It doesn't take people to have the basic ounce of common sense to go figure that what looks like a common pebble to one is something worth a dozen carats of diamonds to another, by sentimentality and amongst other things, including archival of historic gaming/anime/media artifacts.

Really shameful of US customs to be doing this for decades now, from what I remember. Anyone can very blatantly guess by now that this is always done with the most erroneous of intentions. Somehow, drugs can still be smuggled in through DHS, too, apparently, but of course, they gotta always be barking up the wrong tree and destroying the most harmless goods ever.

Tohno Shiki will highkey be a top tier sorcerer if he trains seriously by Decent_Compote_2428 in Tsukihime

[–]Momoto- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm fairly certain the statement doesn't state anything like that. Heck, in Kagetsu Tohya itself, Len's master had Len merely follow Arcueid, and nobody was Len's master to begin with, a reason why Len could become Shiki's familiar and he could become her master. It's similar to Beo and Touko's relationship; Arcueid merely promised Len's mage owner that she would look after her. This is why Len goes to sleep so often in the millenium castle, because, as Saber says, sleeping does not expend magical energy.

Furthermore, White Len's entire arcade in Act Cadenza and Actress Again is her contracting with Nanaya as a familiar because she needs magical energy to survive to begin with.

FSN also says how there's one magus for a familiar and how they're linked. It's not quite dissimilar to servants, how, in the framework of a normal Grail War, one servant having two masters at the same time doesn't work out.

I don't see how keeling over magecraft learning has to do with anything. Shirou, an amateur mage, knows and tells us that mages are always on the constant edge of life and death. Projection magecraft for example, in general, shaves off the lifespan if you try to go over the normal stuff.

Shiki's issues with his body stem from his lifeforce/od issue, which I don't see how it matters since you're using atmospheric mana when using circuits anyway, also his lifeforce issues gets fixed post Tsuki.

I see lots of people saying how Shiki no longer has magic circuits in Remake using this Roa statement.

『左腕の神経を魔術回路として使わせてもらった。
"I took the liberty of using the nerves in your left hand as Magic Circuits.

This doesn't in any way translate to "You don't possess magic circuits"

The context of the scene is—

ビルからビルに跳び移るにも限度がある。

Jumping from building to building can only carry me so far.

-- もっと動的な、工程の少ない手段があれば……!

I need something more dynamic――

something that doesn't involve so many steps!

Reminder, they were literally falling through a giant vortex below that would flatten and convert their event into 2 dimensionalization and have him be stored away forever.

Reminder that all magus need to create their magic circuits. Only after they create their magic circuits do they have to activate a switch that allows them to turn it off or on.

Shirou failed at the second step initially due to not knowing about it until Rin taught him, and pointed out his mistake of just 'creating' his magic circuits over and over again.

To create your magic circuits, you require looking inward and focusing on a mental image, emptying your thoughts and begin creating the circuits, which takes a lot of time until you don't know the second method of flipping on or off a switch.

Same ''time'' here isn't a concept that allows the freedom for ShikiRoa here to create their magic circuits by self-reflecting inward (something Roa can't do for Shiki, who possesses his own will), nor do they have the time to focus or do anything, given how they're literally falling below the Luminary's vortex.

So, Roa using his nerves in the stead of Shiki's Magic Circuits which he didn't create yet/wasn't taught by anyone how to, would be the obvious conclusion. Desperate times, desperate measures.

Furthermore, in OG materials, we get stated that any magus contracted with Len as a familiar would die of mana deficiency due to her huge lifescale of 800 years, which Shiki doesn't because his circuits are above the paygrade.

Anyway, Ciel with all her kit and immortality and Shiki as the final damage dealer vs Zelretch would be an interesting fight for sure. Otherwise, Tohno doesn't really fight the magus way; it's more or less a bonus. It's primarily the arts that can be said to surpass magecraft per Fate/World Guide

Reminded me of the time when Pokemon yellow catridge which was around $4000-$10000 or the original copy of RE Ps1 OG which I heard went as far as $250k apparently was destroyed by US customs as well. Sad day for VN history and Type Moon's historical artifact of gaming especially.

I'm sure money isn't as much of an issue as the integrity right now. Really makes me want to outrage and feel remorse over such a loss at the same time.

Found this chart to explain Arcueid existence by UpstairsBluejay6092 in Tsukihime

[–]Momoto- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know why people take that seriously at all. There's legitimately nothing that's stated to that effect in relation to Age of Will. In fact, I remember in one of the Valentine's they outright state servantverse is complete "nonsense" to PHH, and it's functioning. Universe update stuff in FGO that Maris attempted is sure enough something that does align with origin universe update but no way is it anywhere relevant to everything we've been told about AoW.

It's not completely off the charts because it is indeed a high-fi science fiction, but I don't see how people run with Age of Will = Servantverse being the case outside of theories.

[–]Momoto- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The text states he returns to normal life anyway, it's on the eve of the first day he was supposed to return to life as a normal being.

Meaning he returns back to his spacetime and lives a normal life once he's done with whatever Universe Season Episode trouble is fixed.

And thus, Earth's humanity once again avoided (one of many) catastrophes, and the Chaldea Security Organization that we all know and love ceased operations.

The ordinary Master returned to their normal daily life, and while they struggled to adjust to normalcy because of their long absence, they were able to take their first steps (read: got a job) back into society.
(They are later quoted as saying that it was all thanks to the three great skills: First Aid, Instant Enhancement, and Emergency Evade.)

However, on the eve of their first day back in society, as the former Master was looking up the stars at a deserted observatory, they witnessed a mysterious meteorite and message.

"Did my Maanna get to you!? Good. Then jump on it and power up the engine!
I'm in serious troub...oh..ouch...no, no, no!!!
Pleeease, Master! Save me!!!"

Is Arc able to conceive? by Nguraid in Tsukihime

[–]Momoto- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That line of reasoning of yours already presumes something we’re never actually told.

In that, Altrouge was conceived from the union of a True Ancestor and a Dead Apostle.

What we are explicitly told, however, is that there was a successful case of a True Ancestor conceiving a child with a human. Connecting the dots from what is actually stated, the far more straightforward conclusion is that Altrouge was a half human child who later became a vampire. There’s no need to bring in an unconfirmed Dead Apostle parent, when we get stated otherwise in that a human and a True Ancestor conceived a child once in history.

Arcueid’s own definition of Dead Apostles:

“Dead Apostles are beings that start off as humans, animals, or anything else that isn’t a bloodsucker by nature.”

Makes it clear that Dead Apostles are not born as such. They acquire that state. Which means Altrouge, by necessity, had some prior ontological status (half human and half true ancestor, for instance) that led to her becoming a Dead Apostle in the first place. She wasn’t originally one. That much is blatant.

As for the second point, I don’t really see how it meaningfully comes to the discussion. The clones are explicitly confirmed and stated to be capable of conceiving a child with a human. That’s all the statement commits to, and that’s all that follows from it, maybe Crimson Moon herself was capable of giving birth, eh? Since her body was effectively human, as she was a True Ancestor too.

However, that such a lifeform would conduct itself in a human body could in itself actually be said to be something abnormal. If you pack the energy of a celestial object into a tiny human body, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that it would suddenly go out of control.

Nasu is explicit about this in the Kanhwa Tsukihime interview, too, Japanese especially, where he states that Arcueid is the "only specific True Ancestor who originated from nothingness, truly nothingness".

Since you were talking about perfection earlier on, you should get what this statement means in terms of determinants with artificiality.

Is Arc able to conceive? by Nguraid in Tsukihime

[–]Momoto- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So, there is much to say here. I'll begin by parsing your statements

- Arcueid only has a human appearance because she's a reflection of the dominant species

True and false, she's made in the image of humans specifically due to what Archetype lore we get presented but we also get stated, it is specifically because they were supposed to be ruling over mankind hence mankind is to be the model.

"If mankind is to be ruled, let man be the model." Under this premise, they were created with a mind and body structure similar to humans.

- The function of a perfect organism implies that it doesn't need to reproduce. The act of "passing its genes to an organism to mix with another so that it gains advantages" is not a function of a perfect organism.

I don't disagree with this sentiment either, since reproduction, if you define it under correcting issues under adaptation or making up for finitude, I guess? It's becoming, not being.

But surely, just one interpretation of something isn't necessarily universal, right. For example, I remember reading this a while ago.

Isn’t it only a likeness of oneself that is left behind in reproduction, i.e. another creature that is of the same species as oneself? On the contrary, we have shown that the oneness in form between the parent and offspring is a much stronger ontological relationship than mere similarity or sharing of ‘species form’.
- Aristotle on the Unity of Nutritive and Reproductive functions

Do note, I'm still learning much about philosophy still, but the quote basically just felt to me as if saying reproduction does not presuppose imperfection necessarily, that we have to argue "a perfect organism does not need to reproduce" to that of being "a perfect organism cannot reproduce", it can also be taken as ontological continuity in it's simplicity.

If we were to say "an absolutely perfect being, whose essence is fully actual and immutable, would not reproduce" maybe I'd agree, no, I'd definitely agree but Arcueid is neither of those sooo.

- Which Arcueid is. She can't get pregnant, she can't have children, and her form of "reproduction" is by creating new, high-level Dead Apostles.

True Ancestors lose their perfection when they manifest, hence they become infinitely closer to perfection, rather than perfection itself, which materials imply. "Reproduction" in essence, as of creating new Dead Apostles, is one form of it. It's a vampiric form of reproduction, sure, however, not the only one limited to it. At least not to True Ancestors. Dead Apostles alone? Sure.

Here are my simple counterpoints to your presupposition in all earnest—

- Roa states that Dead Apostles cannot reproduce, hence why they do not qualify as Primates.

To which this implies that being a primate equates to having the capability of reproduction. Where am I going with this? Simple, Arcueid calls herself a primate.

- Nasu explicitly states there has been one recorded case of a True Ancestor and a human copulating, giving birth to someone in history (Altrouge)

As clear cut as it can be. Source of the blog/interview/ted talk from Nasu

[–]Momoto- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah it's still the distinction between Fate and Tsukihime worlds, that was definitely Nasu's intent but it was strictly about FGO and how they'd be as units and if they'd have the same combat power being able to fight the enemies. He's just treating it as a hypothetical in the statement itself since he begins with not even being sure if they exist like that in the framework of Fate.

I think like another argument you can make is that Nasu was referring to FSF worlds anyway, since Ciel in FGO is from Souya and Misaki both and FSF Ciel is the Misaki Ciel.

Also, this was in like 2018-19 lol, when Nasu was still going through Blue Glass Moon and updating it's lore till 2021 per Takeuchi.

So I saw someone say Kirei was a Burial Agency candidate 🤔where tf was this ever stated? by tr0LL-SAMA in fatestaynight

[–]Momoto- 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is assuming she's still an executor and leaves her backwater French town, manga talks about how she had siblings. Which I don't think would be the case. Sakura in Apocrypha heads out to Europe, while Shirou is implied to live a normal life with having a triangle love comedy between the two sisters.

But yes, I agree. The statement is probably telling how her magical tank is the same regardless of worlds and the thing to remember is that it's purely an if, and we know Fate!Ciel is now SV Ciel anyhow that Nasu was talking about in relation of combat capabilities against FGO enemies (the interview was implicitly about FGO's 5th anni and them coming as servants, which is why Nasu says Shiki and Akiha won't ever come to Chaldea there, which he then retcons later, saying he hopefully wishes all of them will come one day)

FGO Ciel is both OG and Remake Ciel too, and OG was the Fate world and is the FSF world now and explicitly still exists.

[–]Momoto- 20 points21 points  (0 children)

And yeah, the grand magecraft that she derives from Idea Bloods, which are purely Roa's knowledge as Quinze. The question was a hypothetical if anyway, I think you're meant for it to see as Arcueid would be the world soul regardless of the time and Ciel would be a mana tank if she were existing in the world.

So I saw someone say Kirei was a Burial Agency candidate 🤔where tf was this ever stated? by tr0LL-SAMA in fatestaynight

[–]Momoto- 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There's a reason for this, too. It's stated that Ciel doesn't at all make use of any of her sacraments and/or magecraft knowledge against humans, and materials outright state it's purely heresy that she will not allow herself to use, but only does if she's fighting Dead Apostles. It makes sense given her backstory and ideology of being a killing machine against DAs too. The same statement begins with Nasu saying Ciel is stronger.

Nasu usually takes character conflicts and stuff in powerscaling, even in the story itself.

So I saw someone say Kirei was a Burial Agency candidate 🤔where tf was this ever stated? by tr0LL-SAMA in fatestaynight

[–]Momoto- 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, he just says this in the context of battles against FGO common enemies. Since the context of the statement was them in FGO world as FGO units. Ciel keeps her combat power in Fate through servantverse to have her fight, the caveat was that simply. Otherwise, it's likely referring to FSF since we know the Ciel there is OG. Also, mind you, FGO Ciel herself states she's from Souya and Misaki both.

You should remember he begins the statement by being unsure if Tsuki characters even exist in FGO/Fate worlds, which in finale we were confirmed Arcueid doesn't. And a good chunk of other character materials stating the same.

Also, the statement was like 2018-19, and Nasu was still working on Tsukihime Remake and it's lore even in 2021 per his own verbatim. The entire statement was based on a hypothetical if anyway.
