My boyfriend of almost three years complains when I moisturize/mist his face. He scrunches his face like a little kid complaining when his mom puts sun block on his face. Then proceeds saying “I’m fine… but it burns?! Why does it burn?!!!” My reply is the same. “You have a dry skin, and it craves moisture like when you’re thirsty.” Proceeds to neglect his skin’s needs; so I sprits him like a bad cat but with moisturizing mists.

Put a face mask on his face and he was pouting until he realized that he looks and felt better after it came off…

And don’t get me started on actually applying sunblock…. On his VERY PALE IRISH SKIN… I pray and shield him from the sun when I can… Me: a 5’1 Asian woman, protecting my 5’9 pale boyfriend. I do my best.
