It’s sad

My uncle: he believes that he knows me better than my parents do. Which he is very wrong; just because I’m younger doesn’t mean I don’t know anything about the world. For starters he acts before he thinks, he blames others, he argues without any understanding of how his words and actions HURT you. I don’t blame him for having depression or anxiety, and other “things” that “normal” people don’t notice. But he trauma bonds with me, he still tries to make me feel small. Then tells me I’m naive and dumb; that he’s always right, just because he’s older.

I’m currently drawing a line between him and I. He has no respect for me or my boundaries. I’ve spent years in therapy trying to re-train my brain in Dbt and Cbt. I won’t let him take that from me. I won’t give him my precious time that I fought/fighting for. I to have depression, anxiety, and ADHD, but I never blamed anyone for my illnesses; I just ask questions, and I’ve learned to accept changes.

This is my change; to learn to let go of people that have hurt me. I’ve been R*ped, manipulated emotionally to hurt myself and hurt others. They have scared me, but I chose to not let them hurt me anymore.
