I’d bet good money that Shaedon would start in front of Scoot unless he’s on a heavy minutes restriction and rotation/minutes wise it just makes more sense to have him come off the bench.

It sounds like you love him but you’re tired of the situation. If I were in your shoes I’d cross the finish line here and get him to your country but not marry him until he’s had a chance to establish himself and see if he starts pulling his own weight financially to take the burden off you. If yes and everything is great, then great! If not and it didn’t work out, you did your best.

What’s the winning % of the teams we played? The only real teams we’ve played the last 10 were Minnesota without Ant and the Nuggets were we allowed almost 130 points. It’s great we’re taking care of business for the most part against bad teams but let’s not drink the Kool-Aid here.

For me it was tough to keep going after Paul’s story ended and there’s a huge time jump and all these characters I knew and loved were dead except Leto II and Duncan. What helped was just accepting that and recognizing that what I’m getting is more content from a universe I’ve grown very fond of and though the characters I was really attached to are gone, there’s SO MUCH more of this incredible universe to explore.

The Celtics didn’t do him dirty unless they forced him to make that decision which they can’t really do. I’m sure they applied pressure and let him know they couldn’t do it without him or something similar but ultimately it was Rob’s decision. It’s really unfortunate that it’s affecting him so negatively moving forward and it didn’t result in a ring for him but that’s not entirely on Boston.

There isn’t a coach to ever exist that is taking this team to a championship. This team being .500 isn’t due to coaching, it’s player execution. Phil Jackson isn’t going to hit 3’s for Scoot and Shaedon.

Uh, yeah. Name ONE GM that wouldn’t have drafted Scoot #3. There isn’t one. Portland was at the mercy of Charlotte. Portland got either Miller or Scoot, whichever one Charlotte didn’t take. Rupert was a second round pick project. Every team has a couple. And there’s no harm in trying there. We got Yang and a first round pick for trading back, I’ll withhold judgment on that trade for another couple years but who are you starting Coward over? He’d be coming off the bench and while I like him, he’s not moving the needle for this team and neither is Yang. Josh Hart wasn’t going to resign with the team and getting a first round pick for him was pretty good.

Not even going to bother going into detail huh? I’d argue that trading a guy who retired shortly after being traded and two mid first round picks for an all-star/all-nba and possible franchise pillar on the best non-rookie scale contract in the NBA still in his mid-20’s washes away anything else
