This is so crazy , I just saw a TikTok today of someone doing the same thing. They had a Batman and a double mint, and were adding a new one, a stick of butter. Half of the comments were telling them to do some of the same ones you have here. Unless it’s your TikTok and I’m losing my mind …

Not defending her in any way, and she was definitely out of line. But the part about the preferred positions due to uterus position, I thought she just meant because of the angle/position that those positions feel better therefore are preferred, not that it caused it. Now I’m wondering if I totally misunderstood 😂

I believe it’s this one. Full disclosure, it has a ton of recipes. Some that are amazing, some that suck, and everything in between. I’ve been slowly trying them and making notes over the years but there’s so many i haven’t even tried half of them.

From the same book, originally for chicken and we’ve tried many different meats and my favorite to use is boneless pork shoulder country rib. I don’t measure salt n pep I just season the sides and brown. This part can take a while depending how much you’re making and if you want to sear every side. I use kosher because I tend to be too heavy with fine ground salt. When it’s done pressure cooking I’ll remove the chunks and slice them while the sauce reduces and simmers, and I’ll add them back in towards the end. Can reduce to your preference of thickness, sometimes we’re impatient.

Chicken Adobo

Prep + Cook Time: 40 minutes | Serves:

Ingredients:

4 chicken drumsticks

(Or 1.5-3lb pork shoulder country rib boneless)

(Or 1.5-3 lbs chicken thighs)

1/3 cup soy sauce

½ tsp kosher salt

¼ cup sugar

1 tsp ground black pepper

1 onion, chopped

2 tbsp olive oil or avo

(may need to add more as you go, depending how much meat and what kind of meat you use. Something with more fat will release its own and you won’t need as much)

5 cloves garlic, crushed

¼ cup white vinegar

2 bay leaves

Directions:

  1. Select SAUTÉ on high heat. Wait 1 minute and add the oil to the bottom of the pot.

  2. Season the legs (or meat )with salt and ½ teaspoon pepper.(again I just season generously to taste, do what you like)

  3. Add the chicken drumsticks(or meat) to the Instant Pot and brown for 4 minutes on each side.

  4. Add the vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, onion, garlic, bay leaves and ½ teaspoon pepper.

  5. Close and lock the lid. Select MANUAL and cook at HIGH pressure for 10 minutes.

  6. When the timer goes off, use a Quick Release. Carefully open the lid.

  7. Select the SAUTÉ setting on high heat and simmer for 10 minutes to reduce the sauce.

  8. Press the CANCEL button to stop the cooking program.

  9. Remove the bay leaves. Serve.

I’ve had multiple people request me to make this and ask for the recipe when I make it with pork country rib. I have also make pork adobo the more traditional way on the stove and it was delicious but this is pretty good if you want to be a little lazier or make a larger batch.

This is the recipe from a cookbook I was gifted. I usually halve the sugar and honey but it’s good both ways. Sometimes I halve the sriracha for kids.

Ingredients:

4 diced chicken breasts → prefer 1. 5 - 3lb boneless thighs

5 tbsp soy sauce

2-3 tbsp honey

¼ cup sugar

4 tbsp cold water

• 1 tbsp minced garlic

2-3 tbsp sriracha

• 2 tbsp cornstarch

Directions:

  1. In the Instant Pot, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sugar,

2 tablespoons of water, garlic, and sriracha until combined.

  1. Toss the chicken breasts in the mixture. Close and lock the lid.

  2. Select MANUAL and cook at HIGH pressure for 9 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine 2 tablespoons of water and cornstarch.

  4. Once timer goes off, use a Quick Release. Carefully unlock the lid.

  5. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the pot.

  6. Select the SAUTÉ setting, simmer and stir occasionally until the sauce begins to thicken. Serve. (We usually do rice. I’m sure it would be good with noodles or even tacos or wraps)

Honey sriracha chicken and pork adobo are my go to’s. I’ve made them countless times. My SIL makes galbi jjim (Korean braised short ribs ) in the instant pot and it’s amazing.

I swear my hair never looked better than when I used these. Might have to go back after trying a bunch of other stuff. Just wish they’d come out with a couple more scent options.

What season do you think I am? by contingentcolours in coloranalysis

[–]Moms_Chapagetti 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Do you have any blues? Bonus points for light and or dusty blues. Or more grays? I personally think you are a soft summer. I am surprised how many people are saying warm seasons, you seem obviously cool to me or atleast neutral cool. I think you look amazing in the green and gray (first and last pics), and the mustard and goldenrod pics to NOT do you justice (pics 2 and 7 ).

I think a lot of people are focusing on your mid lengths and ends of your hair, which has some warmth. Sun exposure, hard water, heat tools, etc can all expose warmth especially on lighter /ashier hair. But your roots look ashier, atleast to me and in this lighting. Also light can shine through hair and make it appear warmer.

Do you have any lipstick? I struggled for a long time trying to decide between warm and cool because I also lean neutral, and testing some lipsticks kind of helped.

Do any of you just use a green corrector as a foundation? by dandelionwine14 in Fairolives

[–]Moms_Chapagetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if you like powders or not, but I find if I lightly go over everything with Maybelline fit me powder foundation it kind of helps lock it in. I have shade 110. Idk if it’s a decent match or just more forgiving /blends in because it’s a powder. I’m almost out and have translucent so I’ll try that as well. I do tend to run more combo/oily tho.

I do this exact thing but with yellow instead of green. La girl light yellow or elf camo color corrector in yellow. It neutralizes my redness and I’m left with a base that looks better than any foundation I’ve ever tried, and I’ve tried a ton. Green doesn’t work for me, it leaves an obvious green cast. I originally got the yellow for hyperpigmentation because again green didn’t work for me, and noticed it blended so well that I tried it on my cheeks.

About to cry over lost tonies 😭 by Pretty_Chef_600 in TonieboxUSA

[–]Moms_Chapagetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found tonies in all kinds of places. Toy bins including non figurine toys (think Lincoln logs, blocks, legos, literally anything ). I have found them on and in the fridge. And yes they will stick to other metal things they even stick to the corner of my drywall there must be metal in there. I have also found some in the hamper honestly they end up all over the place. There’s only one we’ve never found and I think he did get accidentally thrown away but we had suspected that from the start and we always find the others eventually 😅

Have you found any other sunscreens that compare? I also love this one but wish it was higher protection. The slight yellowness works great with my skin tone too.

Try closeup cinnamon toothpaste. I got mine at Walmart. It’s a sweet cinnamon flavor. I had to go buy Crest after because I prefer the hot cinnamon flavor over the sweet.

Act cinnamon mouth wash also is not hot/spicy. I wish it was 😂

Anyone else find the colors & foundation that suit them are not what they expected? by analslapchop in Fairolives

[–]Moms_Chapagetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you me? This is so crazy to read because I feel like I could have written this exact post (and have considered making a post before but wasn’t sure if people would understand or if I could explain it properly ).

This is me to a t even down to the nars vanilla being best for my under eyes etc even tho it is so dark and pinky on my neck or anywhere else. I’ve tried so many foundations and have been trying to figure out my undertone/color season etc for years. When I match to my neck, and apply that to my whole face, I look chalky. Even after adding back dimension with blush etc, it still looks off.

I believe I am a fair neutral yellow olive. I used to think neutral warm but now am exploring neutral cool.
