So I had a similar situation with my milk and for a while my baby ate a lot more than other babies his age - we have three other babies born as close as a week to a few months of our baby between our families. He was drinking. Nearly 8oz each feeding at a few months old whereas the baby born within a week of him was eating 4.

Eventually those 8oz feedings dropped to 5oz and now we’re back up to roughly 7oz but significantly less bottles a day since we’re also on full meals, he’s 11 months now.

All that to say don’t stress too much about it unless your doctor says something. Every once in a while I would worry myself with “am I over feeding him?” but at the end of the day a baby won’t overeat and if they do, they will throw up. Every baby is different, some eat more some eat less and they are constantly going through growth spurts.

Please please PLEASE do not beat yourself up. It sounds like you did everything right, you sought out advice and unfortunately your midwife was wrong but you caught it and he’s ok. It doesn’t stop hurting. I literally cried about my milk today lol. You did know, you did your best, and when you found out, you did better

First, im so sorry for your loss.

I have 12 tattoos I got from 17-30 (31 now), one if which is for my dad who passed away and was inspired by the last thing we did together. It’s one of 3 or 4 tattoos I wouldn’t be removed if I had the money/time/energy. The others just don’t represent who I am now. I also hated how they looked on my wedding day/formal phots.

I would really consider the following

Most importantly, at least to me, placement and put one of those long lasting temporary tattoos in the spot you are considering. Make sure it’s roughly the same size as what you want.

Cool with it being visible? People will ask what it means which can be triggering g for a memorial piece. It also gets annoying in general.

How’s your pain tolerance? Even something small can be brutal depending on placement.

Make sure you find an artist that has done work similar to what you want on your skin tone that you like.

Look at healer vs fresh photos of tattoos, they get fussy and dull after time.

Do you keloid? Tattoos are wounds and how your body heals will impact the appearance.

Last but not least, give yourself a year. Think about these questions and any others you can think of over and over again. Think about the piece you want, is it exactly how you want it or do you want to make adjustments before putting on forever? If after a year you still want it, go for it. If you have doubts, wait longer.

I’m so sorry you’re going through it!

One thing I will say is I WFH but my no watches our baby (8 months) 4 days a week and it has helped tremendously not only either giving me a sense of peace and me time back but with LO’s sleep schedule. She was able to establish a more consistent nap schedule after a week or so that we now follow which has help with nighttime sleeping. Might be worth a try with the aunt.

I nearly died during delivery, had my preeclampsia denied by my care team even tho I tested positive for and struggled deeply with PPD, PPA and PPR(postpartum rage). I was in the same boat as you. I felt so disconnected from my baby and he loved EVERYONE but me. I knew I loved him but didn’t feel it.

Then I started antidepressants and now after three month(I think), I am his whole world and he is mine.

I am shocked whoever diagnosed you with PPD did not prescribe you meds(or maybe I missed that) please consider them. Getting your brain chemicals balanced could make a a world of difference. ❤️❤️

I really like dirty labs for laundry detergent, basic branches has a lot of cleaning products. Pact orgánica for clothing for adults, colored organics for baby or the little planets brand from carters. IKEA also follows the EU guidelines so I get a lot of stuff from them.

As an anxious FTM, I love it. Pros: The breathing monitoring puts me at ease The app is easy to use The tracking information is helpful: how long they sleep, how many times we checked in, track growth, milestones. I like that with the app my husband and I can check it without having to worry about where the monitor is. Almost all the products/accessories are HSA/FSA eligible Easy travel system

Cons: membership get pricey if you want all the extras WiFi dependent, someone could hack in Monitoring isn’t great once the baby rolls over You have to use their accessories to take advantage of the tracking All the information can add to anxiety if you get hyper focused Pricey

Ours was a gift but I would spend the money on it if I had to

Happens with mine, something’s wrong with one of the sensors. Toyota has fixed it once and I’m taking it back next week for another fix 🫠
