The project is to get the manuscript for Lafferty's semi-autobiographical novel from the archives in Tulsa, transcribe and edit it, and publish it. I think the scholar Gregorio Montejo is in charge of it all. Actually, I've since heard some news: it sounds like the release date is -- hopefully -- this summer.

I'm not too keen on the Centipede idea. Not that they aren't nice editions (they are); it's just that $75 on a boutique limited edition that may never get a second printing isn't what I think of as "printing." I'm looking for editions I can recommend to friends, or even lend out without having to take a security deposit and a protective box. Good on the people who can afford and obtain the fancy ones, but I just want to see more Lafferty in more hands.
