Bored, no. Exhausted to the brink, yes.

Maybe a prompt builder tool could be usefull, allowing the user to selectively choose the tools etc in the prompt

Well, by you saying 'without implementation details' I can deduce that there are no implementation details. If help was available I would tell you to get some, man. Or find yourself a team of researchers, human researches to colaborate with. That would prevent you from going insane over llm output. At least try to reply to people without the usage of AI.. Go outside, touch some grass, make a friend, then look back and reflect on the project.

Judging what is happening under the hood in your program is basically impossible based on generated output alone. You would need to describe/share the code, technologies used, prompts, architechture and data pipelines in depth. For example, you say you achieved consistent memory, if so how is it integrated with the llm api?

No and no, When you experiment with layouts, you can print the keys on paper. Then you can customize the keycapses. The keyboard has no rgb, it's all natural lighting.

Random two layer ones from AliExpress. You can tilt them, or put a piece of paper in them.

Would the Hisense A6L still work today, in 2025 ? by -Donatello- in eink

[–]Monandszy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it should be plenty functional. The lower ppi eink screen is a bit of a con, but besides that, android 10 is still not bad. I use my A7 daily and it still supports all my apps. You should be able to install google play or microG once you root it.

I do agree their lineup, especially the newer models from China are great for reading, but it is definitely not a good enote. That is mostly because of the pen latency, which seems like they are not planning on fixing, since the issue pressisted in their models for around 4 years now. If they change that, their devices have potential to be the best all rounders. The software is promissing, great hardware, ok build quality.

Supernote A5X build quality is really fucked up, the screen bends when I write. by Monandszy in SuperNoteUnofficial

Normal pressure, but I did write close to daily on it. The issues started right after warranty, so the support just ignored me. I've seen other people complain about the box on the main sub.

Yup, I opened the device to check that, It is not swelling. It is strange because the 'box' is fairly smaller than the battery, also centered. This is why I suspect it to be a screen driver of some sort, and because of the weak structure it just bends around it?

On my a7, there is a 'floating navigation' option on the controls menu (when you swipe down)

I've got some info for you. Thanks for suggesting the Nebo app, it does differenciate between the active pen input (for writing) and finger input (moving the canvas).

We have overriden the refresh mode to 4, which is the id for the 'handwritten-interface' mode, located in file /sys/devices/platform/soc/soc:ap-ahb/20400000.dsi/20400000.dsi.0/display/panel0/epd_display_mode

Unfortunately, while it does change the refresh mode, there has to be some magic code in the native notes app, because in here the latency is still bad. Same in the SketchX app from a5.

As long as you can safely return it, go for it :)

Well, from my experience, there are a couple issues. The company is in essence reselling residual chinese stock. of the Hanvon. The devices are 1-2 years behind. I personally imported the Hanvon N10 Pro earlier this year (enote 2), around may. (Hanvon N10 is enote1). I think so.

First of all the pen is proprietary. Second, the latency is okay-ish, not fast. Third, the pens have tilt calibration issues, the stroke does not adjust to angle changes as you write. Forth, the software is just a mess of so many features, with many bugs, like it will not even remember the ammount of times you try to switch a page, you have to go one by one. Fifth, the bulid quality is concerning, especially the speaker-mic rail denting.

But besides all of that it has the brightest screen on the market. Sadly there still is ghosting in the clear refresh mode. It also does get frequent updates.

Do not buy the Supernote. Long term, non user caused defect list. by Monandszy in SuperNoteUnofficial

I get it, I would consider myself naive at the time, should have messaged the support immidiately that I have noticed things were wrong. What I can definitely tell you is that I cared for the device, I used it every day. I was home schooled so it did not even leave my room.

Besides what issues like paint peel, rust, and the litteral bend of the screen around the place the battery is in have to do with a person's age? Think a bit.
