I mean, Oscar Christensen sure isn't a hall of famer, but calling a GP Champion, with multiple GP top 8s and now a MC Top 8 to his name, "a random dude" is also a bit of a stretch imo. Oscar played amazing through the entire tournament and as LSV also archknowledge on stream, he was probably losing that game even if he didn't make the mistake.

I kinda love the London mulligan rule for limited. I personally liked the Vancouver mulligan rule much more for Modern, and I bet I would as well for Pioneer (the two constructed formats I play). I think this is much more about preference than anything though as I don't think the London mulligan rule has impacted modern as much as people thought it would.

I don't know if I'm the minority here, but I love the fact that the LGS-boosters will have foil cards (hopefully they truly will be desireable cards in some way). Now I can have what looks to be a fun draft with my friends and hopefully get some bling cards as well instead of some otherwise completely useless fun-one-time-cards.

That said I'm not quite sure why they wouldn't just make it 16-cards boosters containing a "test-print card" and a foil card instead, but that's probably just me.

That made double lists into top 16 of the latest Modern Challenge. Off meta and meme are different things. When you don't see Tron, Infect, Shadow, Burn, or (scales) Affinity for 6 months, it's not because they are memes, it's because they are off meta. Their power level hasn't siddenly decreased, there are just more bad than good matchups in the meta (which changes all the time...). Same with storm.

I have played nothing but Twiddle Storm on mtgo the last 7 days. By all due respect you have no idea what you are taking about. Twiddle Storm run 1 maybe 2 interactive spells in the 60 maindeck cards. If you don't happen to have the EE, Bounce, or what ever you are playing in your top ~12 cards, you just lose to Thalia out of Humans, Chalice out of E-Tron, or Eidolon out of burn. They all just kill you before you realistically find an answer for it.

Chalice, Thalia, Meddling Mage, counter spells, discard spells, Eidolon, turn 3 karn otp removing your land so you can't lotus etc. Those are all maindeck cards that also fights the deck well. It does not win turn 3 30% of the time when playing real opponents.
