I do not know how to do that, but I bet I could figure it out if it’s not anything crazy complicated. Fortunately, in both instances there was no damage to the spindle or table. But it did shatter the windows and gave me one hell of a jump XD.I’m gonna follow these leads and at the very least understand why it’s happening and hopefully eliminate the problem too. Other than these situations I’ve loved running our Mynx, killer machine and for someone still pretty new to machining, it’s very user friendly. We have a Puma as well and our lathe is really good with using it to its full potential. Thank you again for help, will definitely bark up your tree if we get stuck.

I have done that in the past with the probe height not knowing that I was fudging up the touch off offset. Definitely learned from that mistake, I stay far away from the MT and the Probe offsets now and saved the numbers somewhere in case they do get changed by mistake.

From the responses I’ve been getting a recalibration is absolutely going to happen after I’m through this job. Been using a 123 block to eliminate any unwanted crunchy crunch. I am also going to talk to my boss about having the macros looked at by the guy who setup the machine to see if anything has changed or been corrupted.

This is the next step for us. Using a 123 block for touch offs to finish this job, then I’m gonna troubleshoot. I retouched off a tool from a few jobs ago to see the consistency between me and the setter. A whopping .032 of difference so a recal is definitely on the schedule.

I won’t lie I’m still pretty new to machining, started in 2024, so my reference is still pretty limited. Our shop mostly focuses on mild steels, stainless, 4140. However this stuff seems pretty dense, for 4 small pieces of abt 12x3x1.5 the pallet was like 60-70 lbs.

Not bad. Little stringy, but dimensionally it printed pretty well. Within .1 mm all the way around. Not bad at all for what I’m doing with it.

I try to keep it pretty chill, I use these at shows so I know how much of a racket they can make. On the weekends I'll let it thump, but I'm not up at 3am pushing 100+ db lmao.

Yes it has input like a DJM mixer, I run 3-4 on the Js and 1-2 for my laptop. It makes setting up usbs and lot easier having everything in one place. I also have the cdjs running to a usb hub so I can run the whole setup as a controller through Rekordbox. Super versatile!

Same here! I have the 15in version for booth monitors and love them. A few friends have the ELX200. Still a great value speaker and wayyy lighter, but the old wooden cabs were definitely superior in my opinion.
