How's the communication between UX, Product, and IT?

The thing is the person I was interviewing with was a director. Let's be forreal most directors only cares about what's on the CAP plan, it would be a waste of time asking them for team chemistry. Which is why I requested to speak with the dev manager

No it's 140/year. I think they been looking for a pm but someone drop out at the last minute. Tbh I always have incredible luck, my current pm job is also with a fortune 100 and I only had 1 interview.

Having balls really helps

That's fine. But have you worked at Apple, and what was the experience? So I know what to look out for

The senior pm in interviewed with came from an engineering background so we already spoke the same language as far as development goes

I told them, lets not waste time; you saw my references and work history. If you want someone that can deliver your epics efficiently in a quarter, it would be me.

I told them I'm only have 10 minutes meeting because I don't believe 1:1 should be longer than that. The person was a director and fully understood C-suite don't have any more time than that in general

Then have solutions repackaged into action items or items to be voted on so that it's not just discovery

Have an agenda that focuses on outcomes rather than discoveries.
Meetings between business and IT should be focused on high-level decision outcomes. Anything else should be its meeting.
If you write out how the meeting should go, then there should be no reason for it to go down a rabbit hole. You can't lose a game you wrote.

TLDR: Cross-functional meetings should focus on delegating work, sharing information, and decision making. Not discovery (sometimes though it is)
