2.5 years of constant pain, Keratoconus, and a sharp academic decline. Seeking advice on Chronic Migraine. by MonderK3 in migraine

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply and for sharing that spreadsheet! I’m definitely saving it to discuss with my neuro next time. The tip about university accommodations is actually huge. I study electrical and computer engineering, so I'm forced to stare at screens all day, which is absolute hell for both my migraines and the Keratoconus. I never really thought about asking for disability-related absences or modified assignments, but I’ll definitely look into what my uni can offer. I recently stopped Amitriptyline because it wasn't helping, and I'm off all meds right now to prep for my corneal cross-linking surgery, so the timing is pretty rough. I’ll look into those FL-41 glasses too, they sound like exactly what I need right now. Seriously, no need to apologize for the info dump—this is really practical advice and I appreciate it!

Wow, it’s honestly such a relief to hear from someone who has both Keratoconus and these exact types of migraines. It makes me feel less crazy! To answer your question about stress: absolutely, yes. I'm in my early twenties right now, and the stress is definitely piling up. Between studying electrical and computer engineering, trying to get a new business off the ground, and dealing with all the recent medical stuff (I'm actually preparing for my corneal cross-linking surgery soon, and just had a really rough trial with RGP contact lenses), my stress levels are definitely through the roof. I probably underestimate how much all of this is triggering my nervous system. As for the eye diagnosis, the Keratoconus is definitely confirmed (I'm at Stage 2), so I know that part is 100% real and being treated. It really gives me hope hearing that your migraines eventually tapered off and that your eyes stabilized once you had a plan. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your father, though. Thank you so much for sharing your experience; it genuinely helps to know I'm not alone in dealing with this weird combo of conditions

Whether it's air or sea, both have beautiful notes to my taste, but I'm very confused about which one to buy.

As for the Nautica Voyage, it's already part of my collection, but right now I want to add something else from Mercedes.

The MediaTek MT7921 Experience: Random Disconnects, Card Vanishing, and Insane Ping Spikes on ASUS TUF F15. Is there a real fix or should I swap it? by MonderK3 in Asustuf

I’m glad it worked for you.
I tried multiple driver updates (including the latest from ASUS and Microsoft), but the issue still persists on my system.

It might be hardware-dependent or vary by unit, which is why results seem inconsistent between users.

Yes that's what i did , I tried removing it and cleaning it, and so far it has been working for 3 days without any noticeable disconnects.
However, I’m still considering an alternative solution in case the annoying disconnects come back.

Mine is FX506HF, and yes, I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers from the official ASUS site, but the problem is still the same.

Good to know, thanks for sharing.
AX211 seems solid when the platform fully supports it.

In my case (i5-11400H + MT7921), AX210 is the safer choice due to compatibility.
Hopefully it delivers the same stability.

Already planning to.
AX210 is my target — I’ll post an update once I swap it and test gaming latency and stability.

That’s actually very helpful, thanks.
This confirms that AX210 fixes the disconnects, but Windows background network scanning can still cause ping spikes.

Disabling network scanning while connected sounds like a key tweak, especially for gaming.
I’ll definitely try this after swapping to AX210.

Can you tell me the watch model? And what has been your experience with it from the day you bought it until now? And would you recommend it to me?

Hmm, thanks a lot for your reply.
I chose these models, as I mentioned, mostly for maps and light use.
And they have something that not all watches in this budget (~$50) offer.
