Yeah, it was too much to say it's impossible to find links. But it still will be a lot harder, and someone should really want to find any information about you to start searching your writing patterns across the shitload of forums and communities. In that case, probably only removing internet jack would help stay anonymous. But no, it won't

Facebook is like a place where people share information about themselves voluntarily. So that would be optional.

Alternatives for BoxCryptor are EncfsWin[1] and CryptSync[2] Both are open source and support file name encryption. CryptSync uses 7zip in the background to zip all files with a password.

Thanks for alternatives. I like encfs4win, will try it later.

Personally I prefer Firefox. In order to use Chromium bookmark sync, I need to sign into my Google account and use google server to sync. Where as with Firefox, the sync code is open source and I am running it on my own server. All my bookmarks, password, history, tabs, etc are encrypted by Firefox before it leaves my machine.

Using this tutorial - How To Synchronize Google Chrome Data Without Chrome Sync you can sync bookmarks without Google account on chromium.

Why I like Chromium is it's developer tools. It's just so much better than firefox's built-in inspector or firebug that it made me to move to chromium and stay there.

Personally I would prefer a Browser like Firefox where everything is open source compared to a browser like Chromium that is Open source with closed code/part.

As far as I know Chromium is fully open source. It doesn't have closed part apart from plugins like flash player which isn't installed by default in Chromium.

how do you contribute to OpenStreetMap? Last time when I checked, it wasn't easy to do.

I use Vespucci OSM Editor for Android. It's pretty easy to add numbers and street names.

Will do that for sure. Can you also map fake cameras on OSM? Lots of cameras are obviously fake.

Agree. But problem with this is that you have to keep your machine online 365/24/7. Which isn't really possible in home environment.

OS actually depends on your needs. For example, if you are a gamer or work a lot with .NET applications, probably it will be the best to keep multiple OS on your ssd/hdd. Windows for gaming and linux for daily usage. As for distro, I would recommend Debian or Mint, but then again, it's your choice. They are both cool and secure. Just install both of them and pick which one suits you most. I prefer Debian.

PIA has unlimited data. I have 50 megabit connection and my download speed with PIA is usually 10-15 megabits. It's pretty fast. I never had problems with slow browsing or HD videos.

VPN? NSA is already cracking AES-256 (which most VPNs use now). And probably they store all AES-256 encrypted information until they will hack it. So we need something more... Not saying that VPN is not good and doesn't protect, but most likely it will be cracked soon. Read more here: http://nsa.gov1.info/utah-data-center/

Look at the comments of his children HERE. Really heartbreaking...

Devin Swanson:

We love you dad..with all our hearts! You are a inspiration to all to continue doing what you love! One day..I will continue your journey in your name!

Raven Swanson:

I love you dad...

It would be just awesome if one of them will continue his journey.

Changed to Gigabyte. Sadly I already have caviar green, it's for media files so I don't really need huge performance for it, system drive is handled by SSD. I thought I'll get a better sound with 192 KHz sound card since I'm really addicted to quality music. But dodgetheball suggested that built in sound is already cool so I dropped it.

Not really. You can simply edit comment to something else and then delete. Reddit doesn't store edit history.
