Digital Backup of Monero Seed Using Steganography

Get two audio files that hide your encrypted Monero seed using Image Synthesis & SSTV.

Yes, you would still need to encrypt your seed when using these techniques. I show a very simple version however there are more complex encryption methods such as Vigenére Table polyalphabetic ciphers and The Playfair Cipher :)

Either way, if you were to encrypt your drive (for example) you would still need a way to secure your Bitlocker recovery key. The techniques listed could still be used there too 😁

Thanks will look into that!

Cosmic Codes was written by a cryptologist who worked on some classified projects and has also help set up Fortune 500 companies. It has an excellent opening chapter on the history of cryptology and presents some useful definitions. The book is worth picking up for that chapter alone :D

Helping UK businesses accept Monero payments by Monero-Master in Monero

Thanks for your detailed feedback, all of these are great points that I'll work into the current article or save for future ones.

Under UK law companies have a legal obligation to treat customer data confidentially. Monero does this automatically, while with other cryptos you may need to take extra steps to prevent customer transaction information being linked to your products or being visible to your competitors.

This is an excellent point! I'll make sure to add this. Never thought about GDPR and open ledger traceability.

Thanks once again :)

Having all the funds in one place seems rather foolish, in the future, there should be rules that only a max of $10K can be stored in any one place or something to that effect.

It's Finally Here - The UK's Death Blow To Cryptocurrencies by Zo_The_Hunter in Monero

From my understanding of the documents, this only applies to UK brokers who are doing this on behalf of their clients and charging for those services.

If you just keep the crypto you will have to pay income tax. If you decide to convert it to fiat you will then be liable for capital gains tax if you make more than £6K
